HP Mini 1100-series netbooks turn up on HP's website, details do not

We just heard the other day that HP may have some new Mini netbooks in the works, and it looks like HP itself has now stoked the speculation a bit further, with a whole slew of Mini 1100-series models making an appearance in support documents on the company's website. Those include the HP Mini 1110NR, Mini 1111NR, Mini 1120NR, Mini 1125NR, Mini 1130NR, Mini 1133CL, Mini 1135NR, Mini 1136NR and the Mini 1141NR, plus a Vivienne Tam edition Mini 1140NR model. Unfortunately, there aren't any details to speak of, but there's apparently some talk that they'll all at least come equipped with an ExpressCard slot. Let's just hope HP doesn't go too far off the deep end and start releasing new Minis every other week like a certain other manufacturEeer.

Will they charge me $100 for WWAN drivers?
An updated Mini 1000 already would be great. It's currently the only netbook I'm interested in now and will probably get one once these are released.
Oh, man...
" Mini 1110NR, Mini 1111NR, Mini 1120NR, Mini 1125NR, Mini 1130NR, Mini 1133CL, Mini 1135NR, Mini 1136NR and the Mini 1141NR, plus a Vivienne Tam edition Mini 1140NR model "
...they're so pullin' an asus....
:-(
Nah. Its just that they don't do what they should, e.g. build-to-order. If they did there'd only be one model. This is just a lot of versions of the same thing with different options.
These are the retail versions of th MI edition.......ie circuit city was showing (before the shutdown notice) the 1120NR which was a 10.2 screen 16 SSD , with the MI shoftware. the 1130NR will be the version for bestbuy, the 1135nr is the 160gig version etc etc etc. the 1110 is the 8.9 version with 512k ram......
I had a preorder at CC for the 1120Nr for $379 before the shutdown.
Nice... Now with 3G ??
BTW, Aspire one is the best looking netbook so far.....
and packs a big battery!
Disagree, HP 2133/2140. Nuff said.

my mini 1000 just melted in a puddle of its own obsolescence.

1000 apologies for double post, comment is system is wonky. please rank me down to the depths of hell.
Doesn't the bezel look larger than the current 1000 Mini models? Maybe this has the footprint of an 11" notebook but with a 10" screen???
@landocalrissian
LOL
I hope they fixed the horrible webcam on this version -- the Mini 1035NR webcam is not usable unless to have 1000 wats of light in the room.

Still with the 4,200rpm hard drives? Come on hp...
Agreed. Anyone checking out the new HP Mini should examine the web cam performance with care. The old mini's webcam was useless due to the dark image. Some un-named source at HP promised Engadget a fix -- which buried the article here about the issue -- but nothing has happened since.
So be sure to check the camera quality on the new HP mini before you buy.
these fruits need to lay off the crack bottle and get back to whats really good UGHHHHHHHHH
Gasp, maybe they'll add those missing 120 px to the vertical resolution.
The Vivian Tam 1140NR is the Best Buy release (I saw it in stock today)
It had a 4200rpm 60GB drive
bluetooth
10.1 inch (not 10.2?) screen
and of course sexiness... if I were a girl.
Leaves me to wish they would release more editions. (lol, yes MORE models)
Note that the HP Mini 2140 has been released by HP for sale. The current crop have the low resolution 1024x576. According to HP small business that I spoke with this AM, the high resolution screen 1376xsomthing are still in process and might not be available for several months yet.
looks good but will overheat
I hope they don't have those damn swirly cloud designs on the casing. That's the only thing keeping me from getting one. And maybe the 4200 rpm hdd...
Does it have Hp Games on it??????
