Dell Promise Pink laptops fight breast cancer
It slipped under the radar this past week, but Dell and Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced a partnership that'll see Dell donate $5 to the foundation for every new Promise Pink laptop it sells. Most of Dell's line is available in the new hue, including the various Inspiron Studios and Minis, the XPS m1330 and m1530 -- hell, even the Latitude E4200 for all you trendster suits out there. Dell's committed to raising at least $250,000 through the program, so it apparently thinks these are going to be quite popular -- we'll know for sure if this dude trades up to Promise from Flamingo.

"Linus" you douche.
all i can say is i hope no one you love ever is diagnosed with breast cancer or anything else your cold hearted and probally a very lonley hateful person!!!!!!
DELL= BS
If you want to do something good, just dont buy a DELL and donate 10Dollars to the breast cancer cure foundation!
Sorry, I'll donate funds myself (which I do, not specifically to one paticular type of cancer for one gender), and not let my purchasing decisions be 'swayed' by donation campaigns. As it was stated above, it's nothing but a way for (in this case) Dell to make themselves feel good, get good press, and have a tax-write off.
You know what Dell? Lower the cost $5, or send me a $5 rebate if I can show that I donated to a cause.
You seriously think these won't be popular? You must be kidding; I have seen so many pink dell laptops lately that I can just think this neon power-up will only make things worse...
MY EYES!!
It's a sales method to promote its laptop.
