Video: Samsung's NC20 unboxed -- with fervor!
Are you stoked about Samsung's NC20 netbook? No, we mean are you seriously frickin' jazzed? One fellow from NetbookNews.de sure is, and he's proving it on the video just past the break. We've already heard that this here machine is worth a look, but what good are good reviews if you aren't kosher with the exterior? Check out the 6.34 (give or take a bit) minute unboxing vid below.

woow
Did you really watched the video? or you just posted "woow" first then watched the video?
The guy seem quite aggressive with the unboxing.... surprising he's not boxing the netbook
@Jimmy
I feel so sad that you couldn't make the "First" comment.....
I want a via nano in my 2133
Has anyone got a Samsung NC20?
I love German/Deutsch English accents. I'm looking forward to this provided you can buy this at a good price and you can overclock that CPU to 1.6GHZ if it around £399 then its not worth it considering you can get a core 2 duo CPU, 2GB ram and 4500HD plus 12 inch screen
at the same price.
Is that laptop going to be around 3 lbs with 5-6 hours of battery life, though? I'm still amazed that people don't realize that netbooks are not meant to replace a main PC. I have a quad core with 8 GB of RAM at home for doing SQL Server and Visual Studio work, if I want to go on the road and check my mail and do some Word and Excel, a netbook will work great and save me space, I don't need that Core 2 processor, and it'll just weigh me down.
Please link me to a $550-$600 C2D 12 inch laptop. Please.

he is literally nerd-gasmic!
@iEye
They did WHAT to Matt? Poor Matt. I guess he should have never bought that matte screen.
@ iEye
If Apple paid you $1 for everytime you said iPhone you would be a very rich man as well as a friendless mindless Apple ad zombie with no more right to be on earth than a turd.
Another good video from Sasha!
He's the best reviewer I've seen. The combination of accent and enthusiasm is unbeatable!
Hilarious! At least as enthusiastic as the presenters on Digital Living TV, also, interestingly, based in Germany.
nah.. Still holding out for a Windows 7 mutlitouch 8.9"-10" netbook.
Seem great, love the resolution, price is definitely a deciding factor.
Now i'm wondering this, i understand that netbooks are limited in their power due to MS saying they must have X hardware to be able to run windows xp and if its higher they would put vista on it which would be dreadful, but how about putting a lowend cpu with high potential for overclocking?
Possible? would like to see engadget discuss this...
He reminds me of a European Dwight Schrute.
Via nano thats a shame.
Why?
Its more powerful than an atom.
Yeah sure.
I thought you knew what you were talking about. It's obvious you don't. The VIA Nano is more powerful than the atom.
Urban Fervor
seems to look nice but once you reach the 12 inch mark its no longer a netbook sad to say
I completely disagree. Its more about hardware but I think anything above 12 inch (or 13) is not a netbook.
usb 2.0 usb 2.0 usb 2.0 usb 2.0 usb 2.0 usb 2.0
Ermm...did anyone else feel some kind of strange 'satisfaction' when he peeled back those protective films...? :-S
Wow I just pre-ordered the ASUS EEEPC 1000HE from Amazon! Should I feel buyer's remorse now?
Why should you if you don't want to buy it now cancel your order or return it as soon as it arrives.
I like the keyboard layout (I assume it's full size?), but the chrome bits on the side, with their snaggletooth-like ports, leave me cold. Also, it's looking a bit big for a netbook.
that because its 12 inch not 10 or 9.
I fucking love this guy. Someone get him more gadgets to unbox/review.
Yes, his energy and enthusiasm -- great. Nothing wrong with that.
I'm surprised no one said "Urban Fervor"
and is this still considered a netbook?
cause a 12 inch netbook is kinda pointless..
Maybe Dell can give you an answer, cause Dell want to sell Dell mini 12 as well.
If I was forced to go portable, I'd still opt for a refurb Macbook Air at a cool grand at Apple's site. However, this looks like a great competitor. I did not like the S10 one bit with its tiny trackpad, cramped keyboard, and 10" screen. But this bigger model means a bigger track pad, roomier keyboard, and of course more screen real estate. And it runs XP instead of Dell's Mini 12 dreaded Vista. If I'm in the market for a portable in the near future, I'm giving the S20 a serious look.
