Engadget Podcast 135 - 02.27.2009

After last week's international extravaganza from MWC, everybody's back in the land of freedom and opportunity for this week's Engadget Podcast. Josh, Nilay and Paul chat up the Kindle 2 in matters both philosophical and legal, Josh brags about his new non-glossy MacBook Pro 17-incher, and things get really heated when the red Xbox 360 comes up for debate. Don't worry, very few zombies were harmed in the formation of these disparate opinions.

I love these podcasts.
i love the name joshtops!
I love Chris Ziegler.
JUST WANTED TO SAY
I haven't listened to this one yet, but I just thought I'd comment on how great these podcasts are. You guys do an awesome job and are pretty damn funny at times too. Josh, no matter what anyone says, keep up the fine hatin'. I seriously LOL sometimes when you get going on a rant.
I listen to them on my Touch Pro and always look forward to a new one. The Engadget Mobile podcast has been great too. I think Josh should guest appear on that one sometime.
Hey, guys, about your comments on the bad voice of the Kindle, consider that _blind people_ will be able to "read" many more books on it than are available as audio books.
Not everything is about YOU...
...you wish you had a girl, who was fine, you would call her?
Seriously Nilay...seriously.
Guys: you've a listener in Manchester, UK, who regularly walks to work giggling like a loon to you bunch of guys.
If you ever feel the need to swap jobs with a bored, IT middle management guy who hates his job and lives in the rainiest city in England then let's hook up!
Ric
I vacillate between loving this podcast, and getting incredibly annoyed at Josh. He's such a hipster douchebag.
I find it hilarious that you mentioned a device that sounds like Patrick Stewart, since I was just thinking of that earlier today. Like if Stewart licensed his "voice" for use in a kindle, Audiobooks would die instantly. Nice work overall. I love these.
its ok a skipped the apple parts anyways.
Guys,
Your podcast is probably my favourite out the 15 or so podcast that I listen to each week. When you have a chance, would you do a segment on how Endgaget works? I am not looking to find out any secrets or compensation or things like that. However, I am interested in things like how many writers are full time employees, part time employees, volunteers, how you decide what gets posted each day, where your offices are or does everyone work from their own location? Is Josh the editor over all engadget sites?
Thanks,
Shawn J. Roberts
