MSI X-Slim X340 gets showcased on video
Yeah, you've already seen MSI's X-Slim X340 -- which was heavily detailed earlier this morning -- slip out of a white interoffice envelope, but we promise that this video is both more informative and less annoying to the ears. 'Course, it all makes much more sense if you're a native speaker of German, but even if you have absolutely no clue what's being said, we're sure you'll dig the visuals. Per usual, the play button is just past the break.

Wow, a mac book air. Interesting. Never seen one like that before. Lol. Where has the creativity gone for people?
Whats wrong with windows? its running all softwares perfectly! What are you talking about? Windows is standard, ok, but it work just fine. Get over it.
Macs are first of all interesting because of their design. Yes, OSX makes it even more special. But it's ridiculous when ppl compare this computer to a mac. It may look like that from a 20 meter distance though.
The problem with Paul A Chapel is he's just too generic he says the same thing again and again.
Boring really a bit like OS X fun and different to start but it lacks the customization of Windows and the novelty soon wears off, just like Paul.
LOL try to click the date of the first comment. It will probably take you to this page:

Now what can you see there?! Paul A. Chapel's comment that doesn't appear on the main comment system which can mean he's banned :))
Nice netbook, though I'm sick already of all these 1yr old Atoms with old chipsets!
Thin, fantastic design, cheap, Vista... This thing is awesome!
Engadget, where are all of the classic April fools posts???? Either they are so real I can't figure it out or you guys haven't done any.... I was looking forward to some April 1st humors with crazy apple announcemets or new microsoft - firestone tire merger.
Oh well..
i'm actually thanking engadget for ignoring april fool's.
Take a look at what Gizmodo is currently doing if you think Engadget is too "sober" today.
Tell you what - I'm so glad that Engadget isn't posting crap only today...
Yep one story is ok but its become ridiculous, Gizmodo has jumped the shark, pity someone doesn't hack it for real and burn it down.
Thank you for some sanity Engadget besides April fool's day ends at noon.
I just visited Gizmodo.
Then I called an ambulance. They said they *might* still be able to save my eyes.
Ahhhh, Apple called. they want their design back.
Noooo dont give them back, they will charge 1800$ for it..!!!
Yeah buddy, because it's a laptop and it's thin it MUST be a completely OBVIOUS rip-off of Apple's design. Make an appointment with the eye doctor, hoss.
Why yes a rectangular screen a keyboard underneath and a track pad must be Apple's IP. LOL
C'mon idiots, it's obviously a design rip-off of the MBA. "Single" track pad button. Tapered thinness, exactly the same shape and contours. Edge-to-edge glass display. Plus they emphasize that the battery is user replaceable, obviously targetting potential MBA buyers. They're NOT trying to hide the similarities.
Lauren would be impressed and would save hundreds on MAC tax.
looks beautiful. not quite as nice as a macbook air but if it's $700 less... got a pretty good deal there. Now if only somebody can get a Mac OS X hack workin on this bad boy...
The OSx86 hacks for this sort of hardware have been floating around for a while so should be pretty easy to get OSX running on it.
@ Gnormie That's not likely to happen anytime soon. The chipset used in this device doesn't even have proper linux drivers much less OS X drivers.
Nicer if it had the VAIO style keyboard but a very nice little machine for Windows 7 & OS X86
That looks great! I hope they are affordable. When are they coming out and at what cost?
