I just took delivery of my Vostro 1320 yesterday and I just love it. My previous laptop -- an Inspiron M630 still had lots of life in it, but now was the time to buy as the Canadian Govt was offering a full write off on computers for business purposes. It is more compact and lighter that the M630, but it will travel more easily for me.
I, too, took the XP downgrade and was delighted to see that I also got the Vista software with it -- if I should decide to upgrade. I haven't heard many good things about Vista -- still waiting for that 2nd or 3rd service pack.
It's well worth the money, as far as I am concerned.
While its tablet world topping pixel density, Tegra 2 silicon, and fresh to death OS certainly sound awesome, we had to get our grubby mitts on one to see if it's as good as its spec sheet would have us believe.
