Does is work with the Acekard 2i?
Acekard 2i work for DS game and homebrows on DS/DSL/DSi. it's not work for DSi Ware as it's not hacked (yet).
Note : update DS system software can disable Acekard 2i. So do update Acekard 2i firmware before update DS system software.

That's my pet peeve with the Wii store, or just about anything where you have to visit multiple (painfully slow) pages just to figure out what you'd like. I hope they can make it faster. =p
well, the DSistore just launched everybody in europe to use the DSI is probally tring to get on to it right now ( or when the video was filmed) i want a dsi but want to see if theres anything ( ie dsi ware, dsi exclusive games) that makes it worth it, however i hope the DSI doesnt turn into another WIi sitiation when the thing is sold out constantly for two years
Well i was thinking of buying more then one just for that reason.
£150 is a rape, and I can see sales dropping notably. That's way more than the DS Lite that can be had for £97 at the moment. No way I would pay more than £120 for a DS.

It's probably just a tax until they run dry of DS units.
It's already sold out everywhere i look.
So i don't see sales dropping anytime soon, considering they are selling both the Lite, and the DSi at the same time
this is the way i look at it,
the ds lite is a toyota camry
the dsi is a lexus es350
they share the same chasis but have different features and are at different price points.
Sales won't drop at all. People will lap this waste of time up like there's no tomorrow.
I'd still rather have a standard DSLite. The extra feature on the DSi just don't interest me.

I'd only say the zune doesn't fit in there.. as apple really really liked to call the touch and iphone a "gaming platform"

I cannot be happier with my new $99 DS lite :) That is way, way too much for what can only be described as a "hardware revision".

Review the browser pls
I picked one up today + GTA Chinatown Wars. The camera's are kind of a gimmick for me and the speakers are pathetic (max volume is waaaay too low) but the finish on this thing is beautiful. Browsing is fun but no Flash, the nice thing is you get 1000 points to spend in the DS Shop.
Anyway, if you got a DS Lite, stick with it! If you haven't get a DSi (unless you want to play GBA games).
Still want one in white.
i am going to trade in my ds lite for a white DSi :).
and I'll be laughing at you not being able to play gba games anymore

I'm not going to miss my GBA slot at all.
I havent even used the slot on my Lite since i bought it, and the only time i used the slot on my phat, was to transfer over pokemon, which i ended up stopping half way because it wasnt worth it.
If worse comes to worse, i still have my GBA SP to take care of those old games.

It's as painfully slow as my Wii Shop browser. why is it that my 360 is quick to browse the shop, but the Wii takes a bit.
Man, that thing looks atrocious. If they only kept the glossy finish, that would be such a sexy gadget. Honestly, the camera is going to probably turn into what the micro phone turned into, novel at first, kinda cool, then totally never used due to poor functions for picture taking. The only things I really want a DSi for are the bigger screens, DSi ware, thinner size, and button layout.
Well I got mine at 12:01 last night at a midnight launch. Traded in my old DS Lite and got the DSi with a game, starter kit and 4GB sd card for £85. Very happy. I do prefer the glossy finish of the ds lite though.
Just buy Nintendo only games to support NIntendo.

Yeah, Nintendo has really been in trouble lately...
They've added a $2 camera to a Nintendo DS. Wow that's inspired, way to innovate Nintendo. They always find new ways to "Innovate" on prices :)
What's sad is a third-party could have easily developed a plug in, *cough GameBoy Eye*, but it wouldn't take off, just like the old one. Stick it in a new shell, SHINY, must buy.

- we really see you dig this stuff - whats so exiting about going
online and spending money (or those free 1000 DS points you get from

I guess the reviewer never operated a Wii - ever checked the online
store there? MAYBE there might be some resemblance? For e.g. - the
music while in the store is the same. It has nothing to do with the
Wii Fit.
this is just another proven fact that reviews like this mean less
than free toilet paper. The reviewer obviously got his Wii when Wii
Fit was released, since the soothing music is such a great feeling.
And navigating through the Wii online store isnt alot faster and
downloading data takes just about as much time on both systems.
oh boy...
One small step in handhelds, one giant leap in Nintendo sales. I wonder what deal with the devil allows these systems to always trump the sales of better handhelds playing MUCH better games?
