Samsung's Centrino 2-powered Q320 and R522 caught on display
Dutch-based portablegear has managed to get a close-up look at Samsung's Intel Centrino 2-packing laptops, the 13.4-inch Q320 and 15.6-inch R522, and boy are they a beaut. The former's sporting an NVIDIA GeForce G105M and three USB ports, while the latter uses an unknown graphics card, four USB ports, and an USB/eSata combo. Both feature Intel Windows Vista Home Premium and six-cell batteries. While UK site Register Hardware pegged the release date for sometime this month, pg says they're due out sometime in May or June, and neither give any indication of a release window for US. We've also got a mention here of laptops R620 and R720, but unfortunately we've got no information on the models beyond that.

damn those are some nice wallpapers!!
I dont understand why laptops (mine included) have such a low count of USB ports, unless certain brands aka Dell. O well.
I must say i like the glow (i think?) around the trackpad!
4 USB ports isn't terrible... I mean, that's the same number as on my (Dell) laptop, and I've never felt I needed more... 3 is kind of pushing the limit, and anything less than that would be pretty inconvenient, but 4 isn't anything to complain about...
They sound pretty main stream. Nice!
is that touch pad lit up, around the edges? do my eyes deceive me? o_O ....ooooo... a bird!!
testing
i want one
Slightly off topic, but I couldn't help but notice how google translate has improved so much from i used it last!
Some nice looking laptops too :)
I'm pretty sure that, if you asked the Dutch, they could perfectly translate it with ease for you.. Most Dutch are becoming better at English than the Dutch language. xD
What if they could actually stop churning out models like there was no tomorrow and instead focus on doing something decent, like maybe a laptop that actually has some unique appeal. The same goes for everything Samsung does. I had to spend a lot of time scouting the web when I were going to buy a Samsung TV. They have a billion models of everything, but only a few great ones.
