The dots don't mean anything. Both versions are used on different handsets in Germany for instance. I think it has more to do with T-Mo not being clear with their corporate identity when it comes to suppliers. Or quite possibly even within their own company...
I hope more devices get keyboards like this one. This just might be enough to get me off of the Android based G1 and back into the winmo device.
My touch dual is very out dated now, gotta wait untill november for an upgrade.
Someone want to buy it me?
didnt really like the last spb shell.. didn't like touch flo either... so i stuck with htc home and ultimate launch....... but spb shell 3.0 is absolutley amazing. i'll be putting it on the next htc phone i get. which will probably be this phone unlocked for att. :D
Hope the HTC Touch pro 2 does come out on T mobile now - hopefully Verizon will get the Diamond 2 within 6 months. For those on the fence, looks like more competition and pressure to move forward within the next six months. Anything less will quickly seem obsolete. So hold on and pressure Verizon & ATT to move to the next generation ASAP.
For Fuck sake, Give me a Touch pro 2 with Android, or something other than WinMo at least. What a waste of a really cool looking phone.
Yup, I agree with others, I'm waiting for a better HTC Android. Removing the keyboard on the 'G2' was idiotic. If I wanted an iPhone I'd just get a damn iPhone.
I love it when phones have a 5th row for numbers on their keyboards. I hate it when they place the numbers in a 3 by 4, overlapping the letter keys. The phones that do that irritate me, because if you want to call a number that is advertised with letters ( such as 1-800-BUY-JUNK ), the keyboard doesn't say 2abc, 3def, 4ghi, 5jkl, 6mno, 7pqrs, 8tuv, 9wxyz. Numeric keypads and qwerty keyboards should never share the same buttons.
And of course they had the irrisistable urge to REMOVE THE CTRL key.
I was just on Tmo's website 5/11/09 and I didn't see the Wing for sale. Hope is not just a website malfunction or something. Has anyone else noticed this?
T-Mobile isn't currently offering ANY devices running Windows Mobile Pro since April. So you're SOL having to wait for the Touch Pro. At least it's a sign. But bad strategy that T-Mobile always stops selling devices 3-4 months before an upgrade is released. Not very smart IMO.
