The Verizon 10" Netbook is a bad deal. First off, Verizons wireless broadband coverage is a joke...$59 and it's still not unlimited ? Second 3G is almost old news since everyone is rolling out 4G. Third, without the 2 year contract the netbook is $599 and it only works on Verizon's network, like a phone, so you are stuck with the option of day passes at $15 a day. I got an Acer 11.6 " with better resolution, same processor, VGA out put (which the Verizon doesn't have) 160 GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM , 5.1 audio, full sized keyboard, and many more bells and whistles for $329. Along with my Sprint Broadband USB card for $49 unlimited (which I already had), a Blue Tooth USB adapter ($10), and the free WIMAX drivers, it is Wifi, WIMAX, and Bluetooth ready and it is a much better option that the Verizon 10" HP, or Verizon 10" Dell (which starts at $399).
It's one thing to have a phone that only works on a certain network, but why would I buy a computer that is so limited ?
HP's Jon Rubenstein told us that his company wanted to veer in a new direction, and veer it surely did -- the HP Veer 4G will arguably be the smallest fully-functional smartphone on the market when it goes on sale May 15th.

There are much better options out there.
