Albatron storms back with 10.2-inch ultrathin netbook
Nice timing, Albatron. With the whole world feeling that the time is right to enter the quaint and mysterious realm of "thin and light" netbooks, this just proves that you're totally vibing with money-hungry suits the world over. Truth be told, there's not much we know about the admittedly striking laptop above. It's got a 10.2-inch panel, weighs around 2.2 pounds and packs at least an audio input and output. We're promised that more images and even a video are on the horizon, so hold tight, vaquero.

Hey engadget it might be more useful for your English speaking readers to post the non-German version of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfZsUAdtTrM
I'd be far more impressed with this shiny new Albatron if the majority of it were constructed using recyclable materials -- THAT is what we need more of in the marketplace. I belong to a green social network called www.greenwala.com and community members there turned me onto a few different major brands that are starting to incorporate bamboo, cedar and biodegradable plastics into their designs (Fujitsu and Dell are two manufacturers that come to mind). Why aren't more companies jumping on the bandwagon -- we have far too much e-waste for them to continue wearing blinders!! Does anyone know of any other laptop manufacturers who are taking this issue seriously?? If so, please drop me a note at Greenwala so that I can spread the word to my fellow greenies!
Looks nice in the photo and then the video reveals its cheap plastic-y look and feel, non-matching track pad, and ugly cheap looking keyboard.
