Red doesn't really look that great for that laptop. I can definitely see why they stopped producing that colour.
I agree. I have a black one of these, and I think it looks much better. The red is okay, but not anything special.

This is legit. I recently needed the screen replaced on my Dell Studio XPS 16 (a couple specs of dust behind the screen protector) and they sent a Dell tech to my house with a replacement screen. He gets to my house, opens it up, and it's a red version with red leather and everything. Since I have the black computer, I had them send it back and resend a black one, but I could have kept it.
I wanted a Studio XPS 16 but I wish it had the Nvidia GeForce GT 130M...like the HP HDX series...

That red is surprisingly tolerable.
Would have been good if it was a really dark red though.
Also, a dark grey would be nice.
I like the red shell but I think the red leather is ugly. They should have kept the leather black... esp since the inside is still black.

Why so angry?
the main thing i like about any dell laptops is the glossy colours that they use on their laptops, that gives it a very cool look.
The red isn't a bad color for this notebook. I think a black or pearl white is a more timeless color however. I have a feeling that I wouldn't like the red after owning it for a couple of years.
