Alienware's Allpowerful laptop teases with riddles
Five days before launch and out pops another teaser for the Alienware Allpowerful gaming laptop. The image above again comes courtesy of the cats and kittens over at the NotebookReview forums. Noted symbolist, Larven, went so far as to translate the gibberish on the picture setting the forum into a tizzy of code cracking. It reads line-by-line as follows:
[Thanks, MAG]
The sum of the first four primes (Answer: 17 hinting at a 17-inch display or Core i7 maybe?)Of course, with a name like Allpowerful, we're expecting something big here. We've seen Core i7 laptops before, but dual GTX 260M / 280M GPUs might be a little much? We'll turn the sleuth-work over to you now dear readers. Best guess gets a HTTP cookie.
Denotes a state of two parts (Core 2 Extreme or dual-GPUs perhaps?)
Known as the gentleman's muscle car of 1967 (Plymouth GTX pointing to NVIDIA graphics?)
When pure, it will carry a yield strength of 7-11 mpa (Aluminum chassis?)
Is always empty in zero sum games (Core?)
[Thanks, MAG]

why is 1 not a prime number?
The definition of a prime number with one with two 'distinct' divisors- itself and 1. In the case of 1, you don't have two distinct divisors since 1 = 1.

The fun alternative to condoms!
I dunno, it looks like the impulse engines of a starship.
I get SOOOO sick of all these low battery life, bulky design/too heavy, over priced cry babies. NO ONE buys Alienware notebooks just to check their email and type research papers. They buy them because of the raw dynamic processing power that they contain in a portable package. I understand what it is that I paid for, and I'm not gonna be stupid enough to run graphic (power) intensive programs on battery! I dont give a damn how much people call them bulky or ugly; whenever I've taken any of my 3 previously owned Alienware notebooks (to include the m17 that I own now) out in public, I get all the looks, and those Macbook dorks know to stop sitting with their noses stuck in the air 'cause there's a new king frog in the pond!
Some of us go to different places during the day and it's convienient to have a device that you can take with you to do your work, then use that same device somewhere else to enjoy yourself with a decent game. Not every gamer plays freakin Crysis. Some of use know how to stick with "one good game" and keep it at that. If it's a "good game" the graphics will scale up with the current technology.
High end is just that - HIGH END! You don't go to Neiman Marcus and complain that you can cover the same body parts with a cheep ass shirt from JC Penny that you can with the expensive Gucci shirt - or - the Lambo dealership and tell them that you can travel to the same places in a cheap ass Hyundai for $300,000 less because we all have to drive the speed limit! If you don't like it or can't afford it then don't pay attention to it.
I, for one, am excited about the allpowerful and can't wait until it comes out. Yeah I might be a little sour because Ive barely had my m17 for 6 months, but hey, 'cest la vie. I'll get over it.
All the rest of you haters need to get a better hobby.
Looks like something out of Knight Rider...
