My, my Olidata -- why on Earth have you been depriving our wandering eyes from this beauty for so long? After being
originally introduced at CES, we've heard precisely nothing since... until now, obviously. At long last, the striking Conte ultraportable has found its way outside of the lab over in Italy, sporting an ultrathin frame, chiclet-style keyboard, a bezel that's a bit too wide for our tastes, an HDMI output and a price tag starting at just €799 ($1,129). From what we can gather, a few versions of the machine will be available, one of which sports an SU2700 CPU, 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, a 120GB hard drive, 3GB of RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi and a multi-touch trackpad. Another variant is slated to include a Core Solo SU3500 CPU and a 120GB HDD, while yet another gets a Core 2 Duo SL9400 and a 128GB SSD. Would be even neater if it had a CD/DVD drive, but it still looks neat.
I'd still rather get a Macbook Air.

the real question is not if it will blend, but if it will fit in an envelope. because after all, even sissy vegans need a laptop even they can carry! :p
it's a nice looking laptop though! I used to laugh at the MacBook Air commercials because my space is not so limited and precious that I need a laptop that would fit in my mailbox. but it is sexier looking than my fat ass toshiba laptop :D
from the 3 websites i've read this, the 3 of them have different names for it, even though the ads say clearly that it is named ALTRO, not Conte or More...
@naz: they're holding it as a book,'cause it has an accelerometer to turn the screen 90° when you hold it vertically.
