We get it. You reminded us 2 days ago and 2 minutes ago with that iPhone post. I'm looking forward to it but I don't need to be reminded every 2 seconds! 0_0
Some of us like being reminded.
Dam why do i have to work all day tomorrow :(
Aye...it does seem a bit much! Far too many iPhone articles at the moment. Real-deal for me though. They've given out t-shirts, and a cheap laptop bag as wwdc memorabilia...lame as it may be, I got a lil excited :(
Iphone = For douche bags who is trying to be cool cause they were not popular as me when they were teens
Reality = A Gadget wont make you cool or popular it just make you another iphone douche so you will remain a douche anyway
Fact = Iphone Fans is going to rate me down even though everybody knows I'm joking and not serious but it doesn't matter cause there religion is apple
@dr house
or because its a decent device?
I'm sorry, grull27, but they aren't reminding you every 2 seconds. As you clearly stated, they are reminding you every 2.00139 days.
For years I've sat in the computer lab at school reading the engadget live posts. Too bad this year: I've got an exam starting at the EXACT Same Time as the speech. The exam also goes for longer. ARRRG. I usually love these notifications.... :(
I guess you guys are just sore that you have to miss out.
Engadget live at WWDC?!?! Why I never would have thought...well its a good thing you reminded me. Tomorrow was going to be my first day of trying to end my engadget addiction. Guess I'll have to wait one more day...
FACT:
DR House was too busy being popular to learn how to properly conjugate his verbs.
derekwf you are not as popular as I'm so i wont bother with you,
In 2009 No Body Carse abuot verbs anmyore ,dude see? yuo stil udnrestnad englsih thats the bueaty of Engrish
Long live the iPhone!
Windoze Mobile suckz!
Palm Pre is weak!
Blackberry can suck my dingleberry!
STOP TEASING ME ENGADGET !!!
its hard enough that i have to wait for sooooooo long without you continually harassing me with the new apple release tease etc etc rant rave mumble grumble
sarcasm fool
FACT: Apple invented using large icons on a home screen to launch your multiple fart apps.
I voted DR House down because I think he sounds like the douchebag.
Keep those iPhone articles coming. The world needs to know in detail how the iPhone Video is going to captivate the minds and hearts of every worthwhile human on the planet. A new page in the smartphone industry will be turned upon the introduction of the iPhone 3.0 software. This WWDC is probably more important than man landing on the moon or the birth of the atomic age. We may even get to see the second coming of Steve Jobs.
Apologies to the Palm Pre for only having two days in the spotlight. It's time for the world's greatest smartphone to makes it debut.
I have yet to see an anti-apple, pro whatever voted down. In fact it's just the other way around.
@ DR House; contrary to your thinly veiled attempt at pre-empting an induction of negative feedback, I shall mark you up! Perhaps you shall see the abstruse irony in it and maybe others shall also follow suit; the out-come of which may cause a temporal shift in your obviously regressive cognition thereby creating a singularity leading to an implosion within your immediate vicinity, removing all knowledge of you from the known continuum of our metaphysical grasp of time....or perhaps you can comprehend a didactic view ergo averting such a state and remain in your vapid stupor of an existence.
Of the two, i'm not sure which you prefer... but obviously "everybody knows I'm joking and not serious", right?
@iphonerulz: who said, "This WWDC is probably more important than man landing on the moon or the birth of the atomic "
I highly doubt that. It's a phone. It's a piece of silicon board wrapped in plastic with a screen. Its main purpose in life is to make and receive phone calls, a technology that has been around for many years. Get a life and move out of your mom's basement with all of your apple gear and think different posters and say hello to the real world.
And no, Steve Jobs will not let you move in with him.
Why are people still countering points made by iphonerulez? He's obviously just a troll - likely an Apple hater (like most Engadget commenters) doing his best to make Apple look stupid. A pretender of the highest order. Like Stephen Colbert. But without the funny. Or the intelligence.
@ Solid Gray Fox
That's a lot of big words man..
@m3tric: FACT: YOu're the Engadget Village Idiot.
@Dr House: you don't come off as popular. You sound like a poser.
@ vbtrash... yeah it's appropriate in this case so that DR House *might* realise he's the actual idiot here, if you're going to be condescending at least make sure your grammar is up to par before making baseless assertions.
As the idiom says: 'Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones', right?
"We get it. You reminded us 2 days ago and 2 minutes ago with that iPhone post."
Both have 100 posts +... $$ for Engadget right there...
@DR House - I hope your profile name is ironic.
@Solid Gray Fox - You sir, win Internets. ;)
@DR House
If it helps, I Low Ranked you for crimes against the English language rather than your comments about the iPhone. Personally, I don't much care either way.
Boner.
Well I can't wait.
me too. goodbye vzw, it's been grand, but it's time.
Me neither.. and I don't even want an iPhone ;)
Yep, I'm excited. Love the whole guessing game Apple makes us play. You can't deny it, new tech. is fun.
LOL don't forget... like you give us a choice.
ill make sure to avoid engadget for tomorrow.
Excellent!
When something better comes along we close our ears?
Same here.
when something better comes along ill be interested.
I hope Engadget has many a great giveaways tomorrow for free swag to spite those of you who are so narrow-minded that you can't even be bothered to just click past articles you don't feel like reading in your RSS feed scrubber.
Sure you will....
More like when something comes along you'll be interested.
Here's break down of WWDC tomorrow:
A couple of new features are added to their lineup of Mac Books... Maybe a few new models or options, that will be glorified to no end.
Maybe a new iteration of the iPhone will come along, with a couple new features that aren't really news worthy but will be marketed to no end like the copy and paste function that was tacked on about a year (2 years?) after the release of the iPhone/iPod Touch.
Wake me up when something interesting happens- like Steve Jobs breaking a hip.
Yeahhhh,
This is gonna be awesome :)
Could you guys fix the problem where comments take forever to load on those live blogs?
We would need some form of Engadget conference with live coverage of the event for such things to be fixed.
Could you guys fix the problem where ShirkPower keeps posting?
knew u were a fanboy HAHAHA
They could fix the problem and update the site, but it would be completely shut down for an indeterminate amount of time to build anticipation of something that should have never been a problem in the first place.
how could we forget?
but yea Ill be sticking here, the other sites are worthless during these apple shows
5AM of June 9th here in NZ.
While certainly the signs are pointing quite heavily in the direction of a new iPhone, I'd be quite amused if Apple decided to announce no new hardware tomorrow...
I was thinking the same thing. How upset would everyone be if apple just announces a few more changes to OSX Mobile 3.0 and show off some new first part apps.
Everyone who was waiting for Jesus to get an upgrade would be so sad.
Especially after TUA...erm Engadget got everyone's hopes up.
Personally I have a Jesus 3G and wouldn't mind if an upgrade was announced though since my wife (for whom I purchased a 1st gen iphone and she didn't like not having buttons) wants another; I might upgrade mine and give her my hand me down.
@nick Ritch: you forgot to mention that Nokia is bleeding money now because nobody like to use their lousy software. Hand gesture through a camera in a phone! LOL! BTW I've got a hand gesture for you.
