Evidence mounts for iPods with cameras
The iPod with camera is pretty much a given at this point in Apple's evolutionary approach to its audio / video players. In fact, we've already seen iLounge's confident rendering of an iPod nano with camera. Now we have the first cases with matching camera cut-outs (like that of the above) for the iPod nano in addition to an iPod touch case with similar cutouts passing through our tips box. This morning TechCrunch is claiming that a "massive number of camera modules" for iPods have been ordered per information provided by a source in Asia. Add it all up and we should see the announcement of a new iPod touch and iPod nano with photo / video recording sometime around September per Apple's usual pattern.

Deal extreme? Where is it on there?
Apple has lost touch with the consumer. Thats what you get from a company that focus too much on gimmicks.
Think about an ipod shuffle with camera ;)
@paezbak
They may have lost their touch, but the customer still payed a minimum of $229 for it.
lol right next to the "muscle massager"....
Wouldn't suprise me, but then again i dont want it, add to the price for a feature i dont need and a probably shitty cam aswel:(
"The iPod with camera is pretty much a given at this point"
Yeh the matte iPhone was pretty much a given too when rumours were circulating.
Exactly. So was the iPhone nano too! Even case manufacturers had it on their websites!!
Why would you want a camera on your iPod? If you're carrying an iPod you're almost certainly carrying a phone with a camera in it so this seems like a really redundant feature in a media player. Customers would be forced to pay for something they'll never use.
Rather than waste time with gimmicks like this Apple should include useful features like a radio. Of course, that would undermine your argument because the Zune already has one of those.
Ahh Chapel, you always were good at starting a flame war.
Although i do agree with you that the next iteration of iPod Touch will outdo the Zune HD, it was never two steps behind. The current Zunes are EXCELLENT competitors to the iPod range. The Zune HD is an excellent competitor to the current iPod Touch. If only Microsoft spent some serious cash on marketing and released them internationally. Microsoft have only ever been half a step behind. iRiver, Creative, Archos and Sony are the ones that have really let themselves down lately, producing incredibly poor run of the mill stuff.
This would explain the free ipod with mac deal at the applestore. Trying to get rid of stock.
they do that every year around back to school time
I've got to agree with jakem, I can't see why anyone would want a camera on either the touch or the nano. It's seems like the laziest feature they could introduce and has me wondering if they're running out of ideas to drive future sales.
With this much evidence, you know it's got to be false
great idea apple!!
if you cant improve the sound quality on the ipod, lets distract people with lights, cameras, and all the junk you can stuff in there. people will never ever notice.
I forgot about your niece who is so representative of the wider PMP-buying market. Of course, most 10 year olds have phones these days so there's still no reason to waste money on another low-quality camera in an iPod.
Besides, the ZuneHD is looking like it will have great support for games. If she wants to play games then you would be silly to rule the Zune out.
why anyone would want a camera on an ipod beats me, it'd end up being a pretty redundant feature
It's a reasonable point. Assuming that cellular telephones with cameras are pretty much standard these days the question becomes, how many cameras do we need to be carrying at a time? Surely one is enough.
I don't know. Personally a camera on a Nano doesn't seem like that great an idea since the device realy doesn't have that great of an interface for it. But I think the touch should have had a camera since day one. In fact I'm waiting for it to get one before I buy. My hope is that it sports the same AF 3.2MP camera with video as the new iphone.
That said. I don't have a fancy phone. One of the reasons I'll be buying the touch is because I don't want the high priced data plan of a fancy internet phone like an iphone. But I would still love to have that kind of camera experience that an iphone would give with the multitouch and the large screen.
Yes there might be better cameras in other phones. So what! I don't have one of those phones. Chances are if you do, you probably aren't going to be buying a touch or a nano anyway because your phone does everything they do already.
I would have to agree with Michael. I have a pretty old, pretty crappy phone which takes terrible pictures and doesn't even have an option for videos. I don't want to pay for expensive phones or data plans. I'd love to have an iPod touch that could record a video or take a picture which could then (when I get to a wireless connection) be uploaded straight to Facebook or Youtube or MobileMe. And even though you may pay more for this feature, Apple usually drops the prices when offering updates to their products. So odds are you'll still pay less than you would for the current models.
Got a camera in my phone, computer and soon my ipod. The upskirt picture community rejoices.
@paul a. chapel
10 year olds shouldn't own cameras :|
Not feelin' cameras on PMP's. I'm pretty confident in saying they'll be the same crappy ones as the CMOS cams we have on cell phones these days. Good in a pinch, don't expect prints, and pretty much worthless unless in sunlight.
The first generation won't do HD video; that will take Apple another product cycle, both to fine tune the software and hardware mix, but also because people will still by it with standard def video for a year. Once the iPod Touch HD/Nano HD comes out in 2010 (with double the current flash capacity to boot) you'll be able to stick a fork in the Flip lineup.
Might coincide with 802.11n hitting the touch, allowing you to upload HD video directly to your Mac.
I'll probably cope without another camera that's unusable for anything other than spur-of-the-moment snaps.
Who didn't see this one coming really. It was only a matter of time. I mean with all the apps that are making use of the camera on the iPhone it would make perfect sense to have on the iPod too. That's exactly why I didn't buy the 2g iPod Touch. I mean a fast processor is nice a slimmer body is nice as well and the speaker really made me want it. However I've been holding out for all those features plus a camera. Way to go Apple!
I feel that better sound quality would be a better feature. With all of iTunes mp3s being 256 kbps, wouldn't having better sound quality be more important....
I guess it would be hard to advertise better sound quality without admitting that the sound quality of all the other models is not all that great.
To be honest... I think they are adding cameras only to keep the price tag up.... iPod components are getting cheapers every minute, so if they want to keep making loads of moneys with the iPod they have to keep manufacturing prices down. Adding a camera won't really have any impact on manufacturing price, but it will make iPod sales skyrocket.
I like the camera in the iPhone because of the touch controls and geo tagging. Plus, you can directly upload your photos and videos on-the-fly. But an iPod Nano would have neither of those features, so the only thing left would be a camera with mobile phone quality. Doesn't sound like a killer feature to me. Let's just wait and see; concerning the iPods, I have never been disappointed by Apple.
Thats exactly what me and my friend had conversations about discussing this rumor.
Camera+iPod =/= on the go uploading
Which is a main selling point of cameras on phones.
Using WiFi is not a good substitution because you're not always around WiFi.
I just don't see how this could have real world applications...
Not to say it wont sell, because people will buy anything...
But I just dont see it...
Meh, I hope there's more to the next generation of i-pods than a camera I will never use (I have one in my cellphone already).
Really, a slightly bigger form factor i-pod touch would be the first Apple item I would own. Just give it to me, please.
Where is my damn radio? :(
It's on the Zune.
People buy Zunes for a good reason.
Audio Quality.
The iPod not only comes with TERRIBLE earphones (which are surprisingly(!) overpriced) but even worse the actual audio output just plain sucks. Not to mention no custom EQ and crappy presets. Oh and the distortion they make.
Tbh its not much of a surprise after 8 years of minimum development the only way to push a new iPod each year seems to be a minor improvement with a camera. C´mon the only difference between the first gen and the last is the drivespace.
Now.. I wonder who wants to have a camera if this is the same camera of the iPhone. I´m not sure how Apple managed to do it but the iPhone sports atm the worst camera of all mobiles around. It´s almost emberassing to even take picture with it (yes numbers show different, though the quality still is horrible).
Nah... I would prefer an iPod with for example a radio tuner or some proper support without the iTunes, but then Jobs knows what´s good for me...
We will find out come September.
well, at least my 2nd gen ipod touch will still be "the newest ipod" for a little while longer.
haha ye i work for an apple retail store, and one of our case suppliers sent us a catalogue with the iPod nano 5th gen and iPod touch 3rd gen cases, as well as pics of the actual units. they both have cameras.
No worries Paul. I feel the same way about Apple after being burned by their poor quality software. Fortunately it's even easier to avoid Apple because everything they sell is so overpriced and poorly supported.
Anyway, if your niece really wants to play games she'd probably be better off with something like a DS that does handheld games properly.
"You guys do realize that the only people that care that much about sound quality are monocle wearing wanna be musicians sipping green tea in hype bistros in Los Angeles. The majority of people don't care. And by the majority of people I mean all those kids buying Jonas Brother albums."
No. I'm a commoner from England actually. The 'majority of people don't care' because that is the only audio quality they have experienced from a PMP.
(Gah I hate feeding trolls)
Wouldn't that be great if the next gen IPOD touch included features of a GARMIN nuvi 265WT ?
Well, we already know that Garmin isn't touching the iPhone due to their relationship with Asus and the nüvifone so it seems unlikely that they would software for the Touch (I'm not even sure if you can make software for the iPod Touch only).
I dunno, that opening in the case in the picture looks an awful lot more like the wifi antenna opening on the ipod touch than the camera opening on the iphone. From that picture I would guess they're putting wifi in the ipod nano.
I'm more interested to see if the iPod Touch will include GPS this time around. With Turn-by-Turn software now allowed and with the ability to store the maps on the device (rather than stream them from Google, which isn't very useful in a device without a cellular data connection) GPS on the Touch would be useful, although it may be that Apple keeps it on the iPhone only to maintain that extra degree of product separation.
I'm guessing the new ipods will come just AFTER the back to school promo ends...
WiFi on around a 2" low-res display? Really? -_-
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the 5th gen nano/3rd gen touch DO get a camera. Now everyone will start using them to upload low quality pics of themselves to social networking sites (i.e. Facebook, myspace...for those who still use it)....just like iPhone users do.
Honestly, I have a Sansa Fuze, and I'm very happy with it. The only way Sandisk could make me like it more is if:
1)They revamped the ~3 year old OS(OR someone could make a rockbox port)
2)Allow a firmware update(which Sandisk usually has) that allows gapless playback
3)Allow a folder browsing function.
If it had all these, it'd be PERFECT for me.
Oh yea, one thing the Fuze does that Apple would NEVER do....expandable storage. The Fuze does it via a micro-sd card slot. This would hypothetically work on an iPod, BUT they don't....because they can make something with another 8gb or 16gb every year, and capitalize off the people who have to have the newest thing(even if it's only a storage bump) year after year.
"I didn't say it was a great thing."
No, you just HEAVILY IMPLY IT whenever you can on engadget.
That's true Paul, I used to hate that sort of thing when I was a kid too.
Of course, in this case (DS vs. Touch for games) you'd be getting her something better, not cheaper so that makes a big difference. The latest version even includes a camera and a PMP so you'd have those areas covered whilst giving her a gadget that could play cool games really well. I'm sure she'd love it as do most kids her age.
Anyway, if she's really into games it seems a bit cruel to buy her an iPod Touch given the lack of good quality games and useful controls. Are you sure she understands what she wants?
The problem here is that we're comparing unicorns - neither the ZuneHD or new iPods actually exist yet on the market so comparing them now is just futile, particularly when we seem to be deciding on the specification of a new iPod based on a case design (sounds even more stupid when I write it).
Come back in September when there should be some concrete details to discuss...
I didn't expect to see so many things come up in discussion
- poor sound quality
- poor camera
- zunehd
- people really do want FM radio
I don't think the sound quality is that bad, I agree the headphones are not great
but the reason they are not top quality is that it would increase the price too much.
If you want AWESOME headphones buy them but don't expect them to bundle great cans into each ipod.
the old camera was not so great, the NEW camera that is being discussed in this tech article that was scooped on techcrunch is the awesome camera in the new 3GS. it is good and I'm not sure of commenters are confused or just being haters.
ZuneHD won't work on Mac so I'm out.... I think it's a great looking gadget but if it wont work with my macbook, then I'm out. it's simple.
and lastly the FM radio a few years ago I wanted an FM radio, but now Podcasts have really filled in and I can get lots of talk radio to help fill in when I don't want music. Have you heard commercial radio lately? it's terrible... they keep screwing over their best talent like Adam Carolla. So I'm sticking with Adam and I get his podcast and I haven't been missing FM radio at all.
I'd like to see the new ipods get the advanced camera in them
surprised to see soo much criticism. the craziest one for me is the wish for FM radio because I think FM radio sucks now. (I'm in NY btw)
Your argument about the headphones just can't work. Apple headphones are very expensive and, lets face it, suck.
For the same price you can find headphones with a much better quality, and you can find those in about any mall.
No need to go to an obscure tech shop or geek site.
To be honest I own an ipod touch, and the first thing I did was to invest 15€ into decent headphones and ditch the apple ones
FM radio is close to useless, but AM radio on a portable player like an ipod or Zune would be great. AM has most sporting events, talk radio, news, and local traffic and weather.
Anyone asking for AM radio on an iPod haven't really explored podcast. You can get just about anything today with podcasts, and more. News, sports, tech, educational, free audiobooks etc. etc. With no long commercials, and the added comfort of listening on your time-frame.
LOL that is absolutely ridiculous. A camera on an ipod is a step backward rather than forward... most people barely use phone cameras, so 90% of people wouldnt even use an ipod camera! (It'll probably be some apple standard 2 megapixel camera)
Paul, when did I ever say that Zune is going to take over iPod, you lunatic chimp?! I did say in many occasions that Zune and Zune software are better than iPod and iTune, at least for me and my choice, and that Zune Pass is a better option for people who love music, but to say that Zune is taking over iPod! Not anytime soon, but, will I leave my Zune Pass for an iPod? Never.
What moron!
That's too bad Paul. It's a shame to have to sacrifice quality for the cheap, $1 options you say are available in the App Store. It's also a shame that you've tied her into an entire ecosystem that ensures a poor gaming experience given her interest in gaming. I wouldn't have thought that a Mac was a very good choice for a kid who likes to play games, even games for girls. I'd also say that there are possibly more games designed specifically for girls on the DS than there are for boys so she's really missing out on a great time because of the decisions you've made. You shouldn't equate crap games with girls games Paul - just because girls have different interests to boys doesn't mean that their games have to be cheap and poor quality.
It was also pretty short-sighted of you to lock your neice into iTunes by buying DRM-infested music. She'd have had no problem playing her music on a DS if you'd avoided Apple's lock-in.
I hate to say it Paul but you almost seem like a bit of a fanboy. You seem to have chosen Apple products for your niece despite the fact that there are better options out there that would satisfy her needs better. Are you sure you have your niece's best interests at heart? I'm begnning to see why your sister doesn't like you buying presents.
I don't really trust Deal Extreme...
Oh yea cause you know if you don't have a camera on your PMP, then it's garbage!
2 quick comments:
1. I think the lack of a camera is probably part of what makes the iPod touch much slimmer than the iPhone. I wouldn't want to trade sleekness and aesthetics for a crappy camera that I would rarely (if ever) use. I got an iPod touch because I don't want an iPhone. Apple should stop trying to add "fluff" and add some real valuable updates. That said...
2. I agree that Apple should focus on making the music player part better. I love that my iPod touch does games, internet, etc, but at it's core, it's a music player. Why not have the best one out there, in terms of audio quality? I agree that most people just don't know what they're missing. Throw a pair of Grados on anyone, even attached to an unamped iPod. Their jaw will drop and they won't want to give them back. Image how blown away we would all be if the audio quality was premium out of the box. (This would be with an upgraded earphone. I don't think they can do much with the iBuds, aside from maybe shipping newer iPods with their more expenseive in-ear phones, which still pale in comparison to most good IEMs, and would hurt the all-important bottom line.)
Little question, though, could the audio quality thing be fixed with a software update, or would it have to be new hardware? I'm asking because I would love it if it were just a simple software update to a clearer, more accurate aural experience, and not having to buy a whole new iPod.
Nope, sorry.
To put it bluntly, the audio chips in the current iPods are crap. The only ones that actually have halfway-decent audio are the classic models.
The problem is that good quality audio outputs are expensive and fairly bulky, and, well, you see the kind of space we're dealing with here.
If you go through the iPod generations, you'll find that they started out pretty good, as there was room to manuvre inside the casing (and not to mention there nothing getting in the way of the 'audio' part of the 'digital audio player', and as they got thinner and thinner, and smaller and smaller, and more and more feature packed, the audio quality got lower and lower.
"Rather than waste time with gimmicks like this Apple should include useful features like a radio." - jakem
Radio? Radio??? Seriously? I have my entire music collection on a DAP and I'd want to listen to some crap radio station with a blubbering DJ and ads? Seriously??? Please. Radio is dead. Accept it, Zunetards.
I can't believe that a post about an iPod case is being dominated by Zune astroturfers battling Paul a. Chapel. When will you tools realize that you're the yin to Paul's yang?
Troll Different.
The product on the pic looks kind of coarse. Take a look at the irregular shape of the cutouts. Is anyone sure it's not fake?
@All
Dudes, relax.
Well, having just picked up an ipod Touch, I can say that a good camera would be a nice addition. I carry a simple cellphone that has a crappy camera, so I'd like a better one on my ipod. I love this thing. And include an SD slot so I can pull the photos off to any pc.
Oh, and what would really make the the Touch awesome would be a phone radio. Then it would have everything. What's that, ATT? You say they already make an Ipod that functions as a phone? No, they do not, my friend. Sadly, they do not. Maybe next year, when Verizon gets the thing.
"And include an SD slot so I can pull the photos off to any pc."
That will never happen....if you want a music player with expandable storage, get a Sansa, or a Creative player, or a Cowon D2.
Apple won't do it, because consumers want something ridiculously thin, and an SD/micro-sd card slot adds to thickness.
Oh yea...not to mention the fact that if they come out with a 64gb touch...why bother? If you have a 32gb touch, you can buy a 32gb SD-HC card for likely less than the difference of the higher capacity(64gb) version. That's why I have a Sansa Fuze...I got the 4gb version, and I doubled the storage(with a 4gb micro-SDHC card) for a mere $10.
For the fact of SD slot bulking up phones...I direct you to the Toshiba TG-01
Thinnest thing out and has a SD slot. So with that said...
I agree more with your "Apple wanting to milk money on upgrading for more space" thoughts.
That's what I think also
why can't we all be friends?
@Jordan
Because if they were all friends, Engadget wouldn't be as enjoyable :-)
Uh Paul...
1.) Why are you letting your niece ride bikes AND snap pictures???
2.) How is she getting that important wifi for radio while riding said bike???
Oh...and Quix
If radio is dead. Tell that to the many sport fans who use it to catch games outside the house.
Or the millions of listeners of morning shows.
Radio is far from dead.
You forget...radio is the way most people hear the songs first. Then MP3 player is the "repeat option"
I'm neither a Apple or MS fanboy (although Gates is an idol)
But I sense hypocrisy in here. Some are stating Zune sucks because it doesn't sell or have market. If that logic is true...well...
Let me just say a lot of Apple fans would have to concede a lot of things... =\
With that said, why can't people just have their choice and be happy.
For some, the gimmicks (and yes I feel App Store on iPod is gimmicky...on the iPhone is very brilliant) of the iPod is what they want and need. And they like the "iTunes only" approach
Others like the Zune and having radio access along with the ability to record songs off the radio or their favorite talk show excerpts.
Others like the cheap ass price of a Sansa and care nothing for additions.
Me personally...I rarely..and I mean RARELY use American hardware.
Ipod with laser beams plz!
A camera in the iPod only makes sense for the touch. There are a lot of applications that could sell better with a camera in the touch. A camera in the Nano is just stupid, much like loading photos or video on the nano.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not supporting the Zune. I do like it...but not saying it's my top pick
(I use a Samsung P2...it has radio also and I love it)
But I'm just saying a radio is very nice to have. I like to listen to morning shows on my way to work in the morning.
It's nice to have the ability to record a song you hear and like...and then either keep that song or use it to find it online.
I mean there are A LOT of uses for radios.
And with the niece things...I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
But my sisters know the deal. I'm the "disciplinarian"
So I do get last say in how they raise their kids actually, LOL
Helps when you're the only uncle. I keeps kids in check with an iron fist...
Except for the boys...you know they get special treatment, LOL
I'm suprised your sibling(s) allow you to talk to them anymore.
You probably come around unnanounced, put them down because they don't own enough Apple products, and then act all smug when you get their daughter a cheap camera.
I wouldn't be suprised if it included the phrase: "here, I got you a camera, because I KNOW your parents are too CHEAP to buy you one".
wasn't there early renders that showed that was just a hold switch being relocated?
I do not think apple would move the hold switch there. My walkman has the hold switch in that position and all of the reviews I read before buying it had that as one of the negatives. Everyone felt it was not ergonomic (having it on top of the player is not either...), and it received complaints (petty complaints, but complaints none the less.).
@jakem
I think you just answered your question. The iPod is a media player. Why not let them have the ability to create media like images and video? Its about time someone skip the middleman in terms of user content.
It is a natural progression ...as natural as getting old.
I just hope the iPod's camera will be better than my Nokia 5310's camera.
@Quix- Radio is not dead, and it's still a great music discovery device (probably better than most internet/computer options). I've found at least 5 new amazing songs and 3 new bands through college radio in the last month or so. These things I would never have found otherwise.
@iDavey- while you make good points, you lose it on the Zune features. Zune can't record radio and it can't receive AM radio (talk radio). The thing that facilitates my point above about music discovery is that you can make a direct purchase from the radio and download the song straight to the device on the go. That's a cool feature.
@Paul- While I can see why you might not like the Xbox after your experiences with RRODs or Windows because of viruses, the Zune platform has basically nothing wrong with it (I can predict that you will cite the Leap Year bug; I would encourage you to move on from such a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence on a 1st gen model). You shouldn't let your bias against certain platforms turn you against a company as a whole. The Zune is still a great option. That said, if your niece asks for an iPod, by all means, get her an iPod. All I mean to do is encourage you to accept that there is no "one device to rule them all"; there is no option which is perfect for anyone. In fact, why am I still talking to you, this should be for everyone on both sides of fanboyism:
@Everyone- There is no perfect option for everyone. Each person has different desires and values, and they will buy accordingly. DON'T try to force anyone into your consumer mindset. DON'T encourage anyone to disregard their options. DO promote a mindset of smart consumerism, where one researches all competing options to find which is right for them. And when they do, DON'T attack them for their personal informed decision.
Screw the camera, I want a GPS in the ipod touch.
Actually that would be more redundant than the camera because the iPod Touch has WiFi only so you can't really get any online use outside hotspots. And when trying to use one in your car...yeah I'd like to see how that turns out.
"10 year olds shouldn't own cameras :|"
Uhm, why not?
Camera on the Touch is more plausible. On the nano? Highly unlikely, if not silly. On the other hand, Apple is running out of ideas to differentiate newer gen of the nano (shake to shuffle?), so who knows. Apple is focusing on the iPhone/Touch, so I think this "new" nano would be a complete meh. Or maybe Apple would just relegate the nano to a lower price point, allowing the iPod Touch to sit on the $199 price.
A camera and built-in mic for the Touch would be great.
@Deo
Yeah, I noticed that after I typed it.
I have a Samsung P2 and it's able to do that.
So I was just thinking across platforms, LOL!
=P
I have a Great Idea!
Why not add a Phone to the Touch and Nano while we're at it adding a Camera?
Oh wait - there's already an iPhone and there's been rumors for 2+years now about a Nano Phone - Hmm...We all know how those rumors turn out.
Why not just do away with the iPod Touch altogether? Based on Apple's current product line a Touch witha Camera is really pointless.
Also - I have a copy of Photoshop too. Love the Rumor Pics! [/sarcasm]
This guy is going to blow his brains out! The suicide note will mention Apple Engadget and erectile dysfunction.
I don't understand why people say Apple should put a fm radio on the Ipod. I have 8300 songs on my Ipod, why would I want to listen to commercials and the same 10 songs the radio plays all day. And the camera idea is actually good considering most of the people who use a nano are younger kids. My niece loves her Nano, she said she wants the new one if it has a camera. So you haters call Apple stupid, i say smart move. Also, I think the Ipod hasn't changed much is because it is fine the way it is. If you want a hardcore gaming system, go buy a gaming system, not an Ipod. it's a music player that offers cheap games for boredom. The Zune was nice but no one has one(so who am i sharing music with) plus i can't hook it up to my car or my stereo like my Ipod does.
Why are people putting this down? I would LOVE to have a camera in my iPod, I think Apple would be doing the right thing, the less gadgets I have to carry around, the better.
Plus, if the camera is a nice 3MP on the iPod touch, then I would be happy, I don't know what the iPod nano would use, probably 2MP or 1.3MP, but the OS would need some major updating. It would also have a built-in mic as well, which would also turn me to buy an updated one, because I hate having to use the headset on the iPod touch to be able to use the voice features.
If the new iPods have cameras I'll be buying one, Spoken from a true Zune fan. (true, not kidding)
@ derrik
I don't get the issue with no radio either. Isn't the whole purpose of a DAP/PMP was to fill it with you're chosen music and content? Instead of listening to some annoying DJ and radio station with bad reception with endless commercials that plays the same playlist over and over and over again? *Scratches head* :\
Right Paul. That explains why Zune lost money quarter after quarter since it was formed. It is a matter of time it goes belly up like Dell DJ. :)
I agree with the dissenters here. That was a dumb comment, Paul.
I have an iPod Touch, but if the ZuneHD can readily output 720P via an HDMI capable and if it can support (or someone hacks it) 720P DIVX/XVID/MPEG4 video, than I'll be all over it.
so can i get with your niece ;D
she can play GAMES with me ^_^
Trolls FTW!!!!
