If you've been eagerly waiting for the MSI Wind U200 to hit the shelves, we finally have some news: According to the lovely and delightful Fudzilla, the 12.1-inch Celeron ULV 723-powered device will be hitting retailers and e-tailers 'round Europe next week, with a roughly €499 ($716) price tag. What are your hard-earned Euros getting you in this case? 2GB of memory, 250GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, and HDMI and D-Sub outputs, for starters. If you're in the mood for a blast from the past, check out this hands-on video of the thing that popped up a while back. It's a real scream.

I am from Croatia but i am living in Frankfurt, Germany and if you people overseas can't even translate simple numbers I don't get what you are complaining about!
Look at the picture it says 4096MB RAM and 320GB hard disc. the article quotes 2gb ram and 250gb gard disc....

That says 4GB not 4Gb. 4Gb would be pretty small (512MB I believe).

DUAL CORES USE MORE POWER. Even the ULV Core2 Duos consume almost twice as much as their Solo counterparts.
Besides Adobe is working with Nividia and Broadcom to bring hardware acceleration to flash.

Another overpriced MSI product...this laptop is hardly worth more than 500 dollars.

499€ in Europe means 499$ in the US
This is correct. In the US, the sales tax is never included in the listed price, making electronics always SEEM much cheaper. Plus, the sales tax is a lot lower in the US, making electronics ACTUALLY cheaper. I always translate $1 USD to $10 SEK, which is about €1 EUR, and it is almost never wrong.
Is the one in the screenshot a different computer than the one you describe in the article? The memory and hdd is different.
