The MacBook Micro is here, also might have a camera

Update: Grace K. sent in a Flickr link, complete with video of the Micro. Check it out after the break. It doesn't make this thing feel any more "real," but what else were you planning on doing today outside of looking at Apple rumors? Mow the lawn? Pshaw.
[Thanks, James]

Wait, what? Is this a (nice) DIY project, or is this a real product?
Too tired to think straight...
It's fake. Apple already sells hardware specs from 1998.
just goes to prove one can hardly tell the differenece between a fake and a real thing.
Looks like she says its a students creation... Why is everyone using this post as speculation of a real Apple product? Laura's writing has sarcasm in every line.
Kudos to whoever made it!
I'm guessing it's fan-based :)
"Apple sells hardware specs from 98"? Gets a high rating?
Fanboy alert
I think it looks great. Or I would if I could see it.
How can an 'art' student take suck horrible photographs.
If you are going to show off your great work, it first has to look great to us.
Make an effort to take good pictures and it will reflect your efforts on your other work.
wo0t, highest rated comments are back on... nice
Apple wouldn't build something like that. The keyboard is too cramped and the screen is too small. It looks like a netbook built for a midget.
amazing overall design, it's cool, it's portable... holy crap, what's with the keyboard...
It's a picture frame that can record a voice message. The "screens" are just print outs. Some one has to much time on there hands and is just trying to get some hits off of there pictures.
god damn
wow i know apple likes to use outdated hardware, but i thought we were out of the pen and paper era
God Damn is right, apparently nobody tought this a$$h0le how to take a damn picture!
Go to the Genius Bar:
"I woke up this morning and my 17in Macbook Pro shrunk! Can I get a replacement, please?"
@grammar police
ooook... you're getting upset because im impressed with how good someone modded an old piece of kit? no wait. you actually thought i thought this was real. bravo *claps*
.........-___-' ladies and gentlemen, i give you the internet.
owow.. your second comment was so grayed out (.....like mine :\.....) i skipped over it. jeezus this comment system has aids
It's funny, even the reply button becomes transparent when you are voted way low, I guess that stops some annoying discussions.
Is my sight off or does it say Macro in the picture?
Your sight's off. Look at picture #3.
My eyes must be really blurry...
I've just clicked the reply button the mad mule. The caption above me says "replying to the mad mule". Let's spin the wheel and see where this one lands!
So its a PPC mac?
My eyes are bleeding.
I was disappointed.
ugly as hell
This is most definatly fake it doesn't even look like and Apple product.
I was just wondering the same. I'm not much of an Apple fan, but even I've got to admit that Apple products usually have way more style than that thing. If it was made by Apple it'd bet it's some sort of prototype, not the finished deal.
Looks like MacBook Blurry to me.
Yeah, awful pictures.
Looks iphone blurry.
Ugh, that was my first thought too. I mean, it's a freaking DIY mockup by someone. It's not some quick-snapped leaked photos. Take some proper goddamn photos. There was no need for blurrycam here.
Epic photo fail, in my book.
Apple really overdone the matte screen on this one, you can hardly read what it says.
Blurry-cam was obviously intentional, to hide the details that would further identify this as fake.
since this is an art project, obviously the blurriness was on purpose, probably a parody of other "real" blurrycam pics..
i kinda like the design, tho not a fan of the hinge... still props to the artist who made all of this *bows*
brendan H has the right idea.
Hmm... That might be the name of a Mac several years from now.
i call FAKE
look at the square pixels
its a photoshop job
:))
I thought pixels were round...?
....thats why its a fake....
I burst into laughter when I saw picture 6
Yea....I love how this junk is like....google search printed on paper and put on a piece of black junk.
Or even better, the epic keyboard. Made for the legally blind with its 2" wide keys.
Now I can understand blurry cam photos when the photographer has to sneak in a camera and take photos without anyone noticing. But I don't think that's the case here. I don't really have a clue what we are supposed to see on the photos, and honestly I don't really care either...
HOW MUCH!£!£!@!$!@!£!@£@£
/sarcasm
"Powebook from 1998"
First POWEbook on the market! Fail!
Oh, so I guess you missed the KablamBook and the WhoooshBook too?
@i2ehan
A G3 from that time still comes mighty close to the iPhone's ARM based, later G3 based CPUs such as the those found in the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii far exceed it.
saay waaaaaaaaa!
What? An Apple "DS"? Really? Really? ... Seriously?
Um, yeah, fake, not even a chance of it being real.
