You know what would have been cool from Sony, 2 SKU's, one with b/c and no blu-ray for 199.99 and one with no b/c but with blu-ray for 250.00, the latter the option for multiple OS. That way those who have a Ps3 would still get the one with no blu-ray for a second room and Sony is still pumping out Ps2 games and the other for the new comers that don't have or care about a Ps2. I would of gotten both.
Yeah, Sony should follow their competition's lead and put out a PS3 with no Blu-Ray drive. Nintendo did the same exact thing, I bought the SNES version with no cartridge slot, it was awesome.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1, much like its Limited Edition sibling that we reviewed last month, is ever-so-slightly thinner than the iPad 2, a slate that most sane individuals (and competitors, for that matter) would confess is the market leader today.

How many times does it need to be said. THE GAMES ARE ON BLU-RAY, YOU CAN'T HAVE AN SKU WITHOUT IT.
Maybe monkey needs to get his eye prescription checked.

Um, a PS3 with no Blu-ray isn't a PS3 because it would no longer be able to play disc based PS3 games because they are only released on Blu-ray.
What you're really asking for is a PS2 that's updated with PS3 media features.
Chances of that happening? ZERO.
If you want a PS3 with no b/c but with Blu-ray and the ability to load multiple OS, they have one available for $299 called the PS3 Phat.
ignorant monkey. stupid. dumb.
They already have 2 skus that meet that requirement. Its called the ps2 and the ps3.
I vote we shock the monkey.
Right was dumb comment forgot about the blu-ray part needs to be there to play ps3 just thinking too fast and high. My bad. Just monkeying around.
Its amazing what you can think of when you are stoned out of your mind! All things seem logical... right Monkey?
;o)
No, he's talking about digital downloads. Sheesh. (PSPgo, anyone?)
But anyway, the mob's right: PS3 is Sony's Blu-ray Trojan horse, so they'll never remove that drive.
