The compromise for having a lot more power is battery life. Any word on that?

Atom >> Neo on efficiency, but I'm not sure how X1250 stacks up vs. GMA4500... plus most of the power consumption in a netbook is the screen anyway, so my guess is a little worse battery life overall than an Intel system, but comparable enough that you'd most likely plump for AMD for the graphics alone. Or at least I would...
