reasons why the XBOX360 is the supperior choice! 1.Its got better Graphics! (but shoddy hardware that needs to be replaced not because of obsolescence unlike say a pc) 2.Faster Loading Times! (just don't let the kids jump around while playing rock band or you could be left with a very shiny coaster for your mugs and no more jumping kids (HUZZAH)) 3.Better online! (just make sure to pay microsoft $50 per year on top of your internet bills) 4. Excellent NXE avatars! (Just like the WIIIIIII) 5.Better controllers! (just make sure to buy the charge kit! or you might end up buying Duracells every month) 6.Gigabit Ethernet RULZ (COZ WIRELESS SUCKS FOR GAMING! despite being in every current gen console such as the ds or wii) hmms i can't think of anymore, anyone got any more ideas why the xbox360 is da Supperior choice?
Actually, I think disposable batteries are a much better option. They last a long time, and batteries are cheap. You can get a 100 pack for nothing at Costco or Amazon, which will last you for years (unless you play video games way too much). The lithium ion batteries, on the other hand, lose their charge over time; and when you need to fill em back up you have annoying cables everywhere until they're charged again--that is if you even have enough cables to charge all your controllers, which if you're lucky are long enough to use while you're still playing.
1. No it doesn't. They are comparable, but games look better on PS3 IF they are first party. Otherwise, they look about the same. 2. It depends on the game. GTA IV has HORRID load times on PS3, but some are actually better once installed, not that it's the prefered option, but it does make loading faster. 3. Well, PSN is really catching up, but I can agree that Live is more developed. Just hope Microsoft doesn't get lazy and fall behind AND charge $50. 4. Avatars: Those were one of Microsoft's dumber choices. They are super gimmicky and copy-catish, they have minimal impact on games (although some use them), and they just seem dumb. I don't like Miis, and I don't like Avatars. 5. It all depends on the user. Controllers are subjective to the beholder. I had a 360 until it got stolen, and I loved those controllers, but I happen to like the Dualshock 3 more. My brother has a 360, and they're just not the same when I hold them. 6. Yes, but I use WiFi. I need WiFi in my situation, and I'm not about to make the financial mistake of buying a $100 adapter.
All of this comes from a previous 360 owner. I now own a PS3. They are both GREAT consoles, and anybody should be happy with either. But with the price drop and the removal of HD cables, the 360 is now squarely in PS3 territory, where it is no longer the best value in gaming. But it is still an excellent system.
YEAH better games! like halo 3 odst which will keep us glued to our xboxes till halo4 comes out! don't forget about halo3, gear of war 2 and the new splintercell (which i could run with better graphics on my geforce GTX 295, but you know microsoft needs to sell xboxes) and Aggie UR RIGHT microsoft does make supperioir products like the zune and windows vista! their soo much better than those crappy apple ipods and expensive macs.
And no i don't want a wii, its filled with kids games, and crappy prots ( pc's have had those 2 for a long time.. yet its still vastly better than any console i know of)

The Triumph proved to be one of the better looking and performing pre-paid handsets we'd had the pleasure of holding in our sweaty mitts, but we had one major hangup: the name.

Better games! Oh, wait, yours were sarcastic...
"Its got better Graphics!"
LOL! All those 'graphically amazing" 360 games that everyone is raving about in like:
Killzone 2
Uncharted 2
GT5
God of War 3
Heavy Rain
The Last Guardian
oh wait, those are all PS3 games...
"Faster Loading Times!"
Bzzzzttt!
"Better online!"
No dedicated servers - nothing but laggy P2P online gaming on the 360
"Better controllers!"
LOL!
"Excellent NXE avatars!"
You mean Miis. You want Miis, buy a Wii. Why would anyone buy a 360 to have a ripoff of Nintendos's Miis?
ummmm because MS just make ALL its Products FAAAAAR Superior than anything thats is SUPPOSE to be a competitor....right?
I think it's time to put away the hatred for the opposite console. They are both reasonably priced that everyone should have both.
@ Yoyodyke
your ps3 brown nosing seems to inhibiting your SARCASM detector...

May I chime in on the fanboy wars?
Here goes:

Oh shit, that was sarcasm, eh?
Well, I personally couldn't tell. But both systems are still good.

And oh-so environmentally friendly!
