Stop putting non-podcast stuff in the podcast feed.
Downloading on to my HTC Hero, gonna listen to it on my commute in the mornings!
NILAY
I, for one, would certainly like Nilay to write a review of what is being said around the web about the Apple/FCC legal docs, and what could they mean.
I just upgrade to OSX SL does anyone have problem playing the flash file in this post? Safari keep locking up for me and i have to force quit.
Less talking over each other please.
Great podcast, sadly it appears to be broken. Somewhere around where you start making fun of Nokia, it cuts out.
It breaks around 1 hour 04 mins to be exact.
yeah, same happens here
The assumption is that everyone would have pressed 'stop' and deleted it by then.
Are you suggesting I should re-download it? If you are, I want to assure you that I have tried that multiple times and there's absolutely no need to be so cockish.
If you aren't, then I don't understand what you're trying to say.
The embedded button to listen to it in the page doesn't work for me. It keeps saying 'Buffering' and nothing happens..
Yeah, they were pretty lost on Nokia. "They should make a tablet" "They should stick with making cell phones" etc. That plus the same old tired shit about resistive and so on.
I don't know how many times I have to say this, but up till recently Nokia was like the Samsung of Finland. They made anything from modems to televisions to satellite receivers to computers and computer screens. Sure, for most of this decade they've been MOSTLY manufacturing mobile devices, but come on...
I can understand this being an American blog, and you not being that enthusiastic about European stuff, but seriously, no European would get their facts that wrong with, lets say, Apple. It's beginning to eat into your (personal) credibility.
Saying a company shouldn't change something because of "tradition" is a really bad reason for not changing. A modern company has to adapt and change to the current situation. Just because they've been doing something for 200 years doesn't mean that's what they should continue doing. Tradition for traditions sake it just stupid.
wow Joshua...you haven't even given Nokia a chance with this new stuff.
Nilay - i actually like the new font idea.
Thanks for informing me to hold off buying Snow Leopard. I know you’re all tired of talking about Apple, but it’s good to know from time to time the sort of brainwashing and undermining Apple does when producing products or services, (Like the annoying glossy displays or the weird language used at keynotes and Apple stores) plus how they treat their devs and users. Same thing goes for any other company like MS or Sony. It really helps me decide on what should be my next purchase instead of following the herd or being persuaded by a bunch of Fanboys.

have you ever used a nokia tablet, they have the best resistive touch screens I have ever used, they can tell the difference between fingernail/stylus, and finger pushes for example it brings up 2 OSK depending on what you are using, sure it doesnt support multi touch but it can easily be used with the finger not just a stylus. I am hoping that then n900 will be the same way althogh the way the screen is flush it may not work that way anymore. but for real you apple fanboys need to stop hating on nokia. recognize that the n900 will crush android phones forever.
You guys are such Apple fanboys.
Ok, I'm afraid to leave it at that since there will be someone who actually takes me seriously.
yea, they removed my comment, such pricks...
*lets talk about the problems apple has for half the podcast that should interest people*...
You guys amaze me for owning so much apple crap, atleast you give me a nice list of problems and reasons for never owning anything apple.
what was that?
They removed my commnet also!!! I feel like an App regected from the App Store;)
Engadget-China. It's coming.
Very unprofessional of engadget to censor comments. If you can't accept criticism then quit before it causes you permanent psychological damage.
Great podcast this week! But...
enhanced AAC file from my iTunes feed is kinda broken... it becomes silent after about 55 minute mark. The files from you website are fine though. Anyone else having the same problem?
jnco jeans. that is freakin hilarious
Got problem on OSX as well here, podcast doesn't work for me. It keeps saying 'Buffering' and nothing happens..
I could use my downloadhelper to save the podcast though. Nice work around for you Mac owners for now but please fix this Engadget. Thanks!!!
