The beatles...
You're forgetting one little thing... It's Apple. If they had reasonably priced computers, they just wouldn't be apple.
Jubei, why do you only pick on the Zune HD for being touchscreen...there is the Sony X series..the Cowon S9, the Samsung P3, etc. Why don't you make fun of those too? At least the Zune's UI is a lot different.
she not taking a shot she is wearing high heals
Apple is releasing a new Dreamcast. You heard it here first.
Even though I saw this coming from a mile away (the rumors were mounting and, even then, most Engadget readers could have guessed a similar date for an iPod-based event two years ahead of time), it's still comforting to finally get the official press release... especially considering the fact that when I woke up yesterday I found that my first generation iPod touch had apparently died in the night because the screen would not come on and still won't now. So, although I'll be iPod-less for a few weeks, at least I have the comfort of knowing that a brand new version is right around the corner and now I can be among the early adopters.... Now that I think about it, it's going to be hard to let go of that lowly old circa-2007 touch.... back in August '07 I decided I wanted to buy my first iPod and in order to make sure I spent my money wisely, I went on google and searched for any information on new iPods. Well one thing led to another, I bought the first iPod touch two months after launch, and today, in late 2009, I read Engadget several times a day as if it were some sort of fateful, holy blog. But I digress (reminiscing about an electronic device, wow, I am weird)...... I look forward to snapping shots on my new iPod touch (and probably dedicated cam since I'm not too much of a photographer) and hopefully listening to the Beatles (is it too much to hope for AC/DC too? lol).

Hoping for iPhone available in korea! plz.
Can't be U2 again as they whored themselves over to sell Blackberries now.
can someone please explain to me the yearly anticipation of Beatles on iTunes? Wouldn't any Beatles fan already have the songs on the iPod of their choice? Seems like it's about 5 years too late to be exciting...
most likely the new ipod touch, which has a 1.3 megapixel camera, 30GB of space, and a vanity mirror finish with a oleophobic coating which repels zit juice landing on the chrome. but honestly apple, do you wanna make people happy? give me my damn MMS and TETHERING already before I file a iLawsuit against your lying ass for your supposed summer release, its september you bastards!!!
From my understanding, summer doesn't end until September 21st. Nice try though.
I think it's going to be a whole new model that zaps the songs into your brain electronically without the need for headphones, all the while having subliminal messages to buy Apple products and products from paid subscribers to Apple's new joint venture with Google for online (and internal) marketing.
Unfortunately, those who still truly give a $hIt about the Beatles will be terminated as part of Obamacare, if it passes.
Rock and Roll?
Well Apple have a patent on a screen which rocks and rolls within the housing... surely that's unlikely though?
