Sony VAIO X stars in esoteric promo video

We'd have much rather gotten a VAIO X video promising us an upgrade to CULV internals over the Atom in the demo units, but instead we're getting tinkling pianos and sword-based visual metaphors. At least there's a hint of an "autumn" release date, we suppose. Full video after the break.

... unless you're giving a presentation using a projector (as many of these easy-to-travel with laptops are apt to do). Then anything except good ole' analog VGA is useless.

No doubt its a beautiful notebook but why in the hell would Sony considered an Atom in this type of notebook.
Anybody who would spend over $1K on a notebook and has to settle for an Atom need to be shot.
Acer just released the 1410 which is an 11.6 with a U3500 and 1366x768 resolution for $450(you can get for less).
Sure it doesn't look as nice as the X but its about 1/4 of the price and it doesn't have an Atom proc inside.

Oh man....I so want this. If only they could integrate dedicated GPU like Nvidia or ATI in there, it would be perfect!

PS Of course reasonable price would really help...since it's from Sony, I just hope it's in the same neighborhood as the Air.
