250GB PlayStation 3 slim Uncharted 2 bundle leaked?

Update: Joystiq points us to this rumor from last week that Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed II, and Gran Turismo 5 bundles are possibly slated for the UK in October for £299 ($494), just £50 more than the current 120GB model.
Update 2: We just got off the line with SCEA, who has denied the photo and told us quite plainly that there's no bundles being planned for America, but that the rep can't speak for other regions (e.g. Europe, Japan) -- not surprising, of course, you can't believe everything you read on the internet, right?

that Micro$oft is silly and ignorant. every corporation is greedy and willing to do whatever it takes to get in your wallet. Stop acting like there is a difference between MS, Sony, Nintendo, and Apple. There is none. Absolutly none. EVERY last one is out for your wallet with a slightly different strategy. They would all bleed you dry if they could.
Greed in itself is probably one of the worst sin's remember.
It's a box. XBox blows away PS unless you're a teenager (or younger), in which event you shouldn't even own an Xbox.
Greed in and of itself is why we have these awesome machines, whether you like the 360 or the PS3 or the wii.
You're right that all these companies are similar morally, though MS has certainly been more aggressive towards competition in every area, that's because they can afford to be.

I disagree that the PS3 is for kids and the Xbox is for adults. If you like artsy fartsie games, the PS3 is very competitive. I will say that Eye games seem to favor kids. I know kids who make sweet stop motion Lego and Playdough movies with that Eye utility, too. Maybe you're talking about LBP?
You may think multiplayer Halo games = adults, but that's not my opinion. It's about taste. Heavy Rain vs Gears or MGS4 vs Ace Combat or Gran Turismo vs Forza.
It's not really about how 'mature' or 'cool' you are. Hell, most of the great games are on both systems anyway.

Will definitely pass on this. Will cost $600 too knowing Sony. Looks like Sony is trying to copy MS succesful MW2 bundle already. But something tells me flopcharted doesn't quite have the cache of MW..This will collect dust on the shelves right next to leftover copies of LAIR.

Both bundles haven't been release and you have already stated that the MW2 bundle as successful and this uncharted2 bundle as a failure?
Also calling it flopcharted is clever...real clever. At least this PS3 bundle is for an exclusive game. MW2 is not exclusive and MS has created a bundle for it....really?

Anyways the MW2 360 bundle was #6 on Amazon last I checked, almost as high as the PS3 Slim! I'd say thats a good indication it will be popular. We have no such evidence yet for this Uncharted bundle.
Anyways, MW2 is more associated with Xbox360, Xbox 360 is more associated with shooters, has a much better controller for FPS, and PS3 and 360 sell to a young male hardcore demographic that eats FPS up..so I dont think it's a stretch that demo will find a hardcore military FPS a bit more appealing than a Indiana Jones style wannabe B-movie game in third person. I am guessing MW2 will sell much better relatively on 360 than PS3.
Who cares if UC2 bundle stars a system exclusive..that matters why, again?? I dont understand, why are you seeing this as a system war? Shouldn't you want all games to be on all systems? I can only conclude you're a PS3 fanboy. And I dont see why t matters to sales either..am I supposed to think the UC2 bundle will sell better because it's exclusive?? No it will sell worse because it has a less popular game! Sony should have made a exclusive MW2 bundle if anything, that would have sold much better!

It is funny how you fail to see the ridiculousness of your comment...but please carry on proving this by posting again.
Consoles should cater for a variety of game types and if a game is good it is good, doesn't matter if it is FPS or not - Arkham Asylum being an example.
The question you need to ask yourself is why you are comparing the 2 bundles and pitting them against each other? Then touting the MW2 bundle as great because it is FPS and XBox360 and the UC2 bundle as essentially rubbish that wont sell? You mentioned MS and xbox first and you dont want me to out you as a fanboy??
Also if you want to talk about FPS and associations then surely it would be the PC..right?

This will probably up the PS3 sales even more, and a nice counter to the XBOX Modern Warfare bundle. I bet it will be cheaper too.

I did like the XBOX paint job, but not with the huge "2". When the 3rd and 4th iterations come out, the box will feel older than it is. In my bizarre view, I guess.
But Sony's clearly not into the wild skins, faceplate removal, etc... it's gonna look OK on a conservatively styled component shelf. The Wii clearly wins in thie category, though. Looks awesome. About the only way I find it to be superior, but there's something.

If they throw in a 2nd controller, then it will bump the price up to around the xbox bundle.

If it's anything like the Modern Warfare 2 Xbox360 250gig bundle, 399 sounds about right.
Gotta keep that competition going! But PS3 is atleast offering an exclusive with their 250gig bundle. You can still buy Warfare 2 later if you so choose.
Still, sounds like a great bundle, but I already have a working PS3 and I don't care about the missing b-c :)

Oh yeah and for you PS3 owners, using FAT32 doesn't count. There should be no limit or restrictions to file size.

Well I haven't really missed out on anything these past 3 years, what with having a PC the entire time..
And Shadow Complex just came out a couple weeks ago so, not like I've missed out on the Xbox's REAL gaming experience for THAT long...

This price\bundle war betwen MS and Sony is pure awesome. I'm really glad Sony dropped the overall price on the PS3 to matchup with the 360 so they can really start to duke it out. I wonder how long before they start to creep into the Nintendo price point (top console SKU...so not including the 360 Arcade), and how Nintendo will react?
Either way, this is lots of goodness.

In Canada there's only a $20 diff. between the Wii and the PS3.
