Dell's Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition oozing out now for $329
If you've ever had a yearning for a slime covered netbook, today's your lucky day. Dell's Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition -- which is absolutely SpongeBob-approved -- is now up for order starting at $329. As for specs, it's pretty much a standard Mini 10v underneath, with a 10.1-inch (1,024 x 600 resolution) display, Windows XP Home, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a GMA950 graphics set, WiFi, 3-cell battery, 1.3 megapixel webcam and a totally played 1.6GHz Atom processor. Oh, and a slimed lid and palm rest, which are likely the one two aspects that truly matter here.

...well at least it's got Spongebob's approval!
i don't think spongebob even knows what a computer is.
There's going to be a disappointed kid out there somewhere that gets this instead of an Xbox360 or a PS3...
He hell kind of kid is going to be dissapointed by their very own computer?
I never even had a family computer until I was twelve, and didn't ger my own laptop til I was 16ohgodIsoundlikeanoldman...
No Spongebob! We're not cavemen! We have technology!
(Patrick proceeds to smash the dollar with the 90s style computer.
Where is the SpongeBob model? I was told there would be Spongebob!!!
green appearance???
wow, it is exceptional.
If there were a Patrick one.....maybe.
Just effin' stop it with this XP bullshit!
*sighs*
What's wrong with xp?
could have been worse...could have been Vista!
Anyone look at how many icons are in the bottom right corner. This is probably the most bloated netbook ever shipped.
lol! Just noticed that - and in 14-30 days after purchase they'll all pop-up asking you to pay for the full versions!
I came here to say the exact same thing. Good GOD Dell!!! You want to guarantee your new laptop runs like shit, all for the almighty dollar (kickbacks from pre-loaded software vendors).
Dell is also the company that sold my (computer-ignorant) friend a laptop with 512MB RAM, shared video memory (which brought the RAM down to about 384MB), and Vista Home Basic. After the computer finally booted up, it took about 3 minutes to bring up the control panel. Good job, Dell. She's now an Apple fan.
Too bad it's full of the modern Nickelodeon garbage - where's our old shows like Salute Your Shorts, damnit?
And their new logo looks like rubbish as well - seriously, they've turned that channel into tween nonsense.
Seriously, I want some "You Can't Do That On Television" on there, or it's shi--- HEY, GET OFF MY LAWN YOU KIDS!
I saw the slime and thought You Can't Do That on Television!
Do you have any water?
I don't know.
uh-oh...
I wonder how many kids today who watch Nick even get the green slime reference.
wuh-wild and crazy kidssss
So... why didn't they just release a skin?
So sad to see this with the "new" Nick logo. Blah.
I'm reminded of a Sherman's Lagoon strip. Hawthorne the crab has bought a nuclear reactor kit. Fillmore looks at it. "Lil' Home Reactor?" Sherman: "Boy, that Spongebob will endorse anything.".
I don't see why anyone would want to pay $329 for a netbook when you can most likely get a better one for $250 or so. Oh wait, forgot about spongebob. I'll take 4
Please link me to a $250 netbook so I can buy it right now.
remember that Disney netbook ? was it from acer ?
Does it have like a sort of alert that tells me when Spongebob is on? In that case, i'll take 4
