Actually, b&w is a brand specifically known for "playing the bargain game." the company routinely is lauded for quality per price, its entry-level speakers outperforming many more expensive options. Additionally, they consistently migrate high end features of their premier lines to their more budget friendly lines, as they learn to make the components cheaper, rather than keeping the hardware in their various lines distinct just to keep them distinct, as many brands (in many industries). All that said, is the quality of audio coming from an iPod worth even this much care? Not sure.
