I have the big brother 3810 and plan on buying this or the 311 as a media laptop with the HDMI slot. Absolutely love my 3810 and will be getting this version of the 1410 next week for the wife as she needs one. I never liked Acer back in the days but these new laptops are just impossible not to notice. Plus this is about the size of a netbook and has the high res screen. I do hope they improve viewing angles on this screen though but not a huge deal. Also, have been pleasantly surprised that battery life is as advertised if not better. I can squeeze 9 hours if I really need to. Also one more thing that isn't stressed enough about these Acer laptops is the multitouch trackpad. Two finger swiping for browse forward and back along with the circular scrolling is an absolute life saver. Not as good as the Macbooks but as close as I've ever used.I would LOVE if these included ION though. That would be absolutely perfect as you can only do older games on the integrated chip.
There's more to PC games than computer towers and input devices... Enter the CM Storm Sirus, the outfit's first foray into the world of gaming headsets.
