T-Mobile Tap coming November 11, Samsung Behold II on November 18?
The CLIQ might be getting the lion's share of the Android spotlight on T-Mobile at the moment, but it's not the only Google-equipped gear in the carrier's pipeline -- the other big news there would be the Behold II from Samsung, a logical successor to the myTouch 3G with an AMOLED display and 5 megapixel cam. Seems like there's a little bit of a wait left, because TmoNews has scored some launch documentation suggesting that they're planning on a November 18 to get it pushed out to the public (and let's be honest, we'd all rather have that positively sick nasty myTouch Fender Limited Edition anyhow). Moving our attention downmarket, there's apparently a self-branded (read: a manufacturer you've never heard of) full touch device called the "Tap" that'll be hitting on the 11th of next month, likely slotting in below the Highlight in the carrier's range. No offense, there, Tap, but we're going to have to take a Behold II over ya.

Could this have anything to do in relation with Project Dark?
dun dun dun
I do suspect so. My geeky senses are tingling . Oh, wait!...... it is a pimple **blushes**
...Ned Kelly died, ah shame Fraser, shame and we all cried for you, Gough...
Lame... wheres my Droid?
Dudes, I dunno, but one thing I am sure of is that T-Mo rolls out those unlimited plans I would be one happy camper. I have been spreading the word and my Verizon friend would cancel her contract to switch to T-Mo. The reason is that for $60 she would get the same she is getting now for $150 - that is a lot of savings.
T-Mobile if you do this... You would gain a lot of customer. Imagine all the people that would switch from Metro PCs to T-Mobile. Sure, Metro is $45 but it lacks nationwide coverage without roaming fees and it has spotty coverage (spottier that -Mobile for those who think T-Mo Network is bad). Imagine the people coming from Virgin and even Boost. One thing is sure, GSM phone are more flexible and comes in more variety that CDMA. Also it is way way way easier to buy an unlocked GSM phone that a CDMA one.
I posted this info on my YouTube channel and I got tons of messages of people asking for more info.
Go, T-Mobile Go! Go, Android, Go !
Could always go with Walmarts Straigt Talk...$45/month for unlimited everything, Verizons nationwide coverage and 3G, and you can (for now) activate and use any Verizon phone (instead of the pathetic 3 they offer).
You know why people WON'T switch to T-Mobile from other carriers....their coverage is awful. I had an experience about 2 months ago where I was not able to dial 911, my screen showing "no signal" as the culprit. I was in an area, that, according to T-Mobile's website, had coverage, but I could not get a signal. Luckily, someone with AT&T stopped to assist, and they were able to call 911 to get an ambulance on the way.
I have since switched to Sprint. I will never go back to T-Mobile, because they weren't there for me when I needed them...when I needed REAL help. I would've paid any price to be able to use my phone at that time.
Be weary of T-Mobile and their cell phone coverage. Even if they offer some amazing monthly plan that beats out every other carrier...ask yourself how much is good cell coverage really worth to you?
For real, is Tmobile really competing with Metro?
I may dare to say Yes. I am surprised Engadget has not posted here the launch of the new Metro PCS Samsung Code. The first smartphone in Metro to have Windows Mobile. Prince is $299.99 with monthly rate of $50.
I tipped it since yesterday.
I can't decide if that Fender phone is sexy or totally tacky. I think I need to see it in person if the stained wood look holds up.
is that spinnan cubez or virtual box on its screen?
