LG to announce Snapdragon-boasting Android phone, Korea-bound in 2010
It's looking like LG will be offering an Android phone boasting Qualcomm's hot Snapdragon chip -- which has recently squeezed its way into handsets such as the Xperia X10 and Acer's Liquid. The new LG mobile phone is expected for the Korean market in the second quarter of 2010. While the device is still unnamed and specs are still a mystery, LG is promising that the device will be "more mature" than the GW620 Eve, an Android device announced earlier this week for Rogers in Canada. There's no solid word on what availability of the device will be like, though LG says its considering possibilities outside of Korea.

It just struck me that I own a laptop (first gen white ibook - 500mhz - works, but never gets used) that has a slower processor than many phones now. I think they also have nice screens, and can do alot more out of the box. Oh, technology, you never cease to amaze me (or slow down)
Everything just doubles throughout the years..
^ especially your wife's weight.
Great another thing we can see but we can't touch !!!
Bring that Globalization though !! We need global phone releases !!!
I think even hippies agree with me ! Peace and Droid brothers.
Now that is a sexy phone!
That phone is uglier than the MJ Kirf Phone. It's like a fat girl, Sure it has nice internals, but who wants to be seen with it.
I need this faster! I was so bummed to see DROID having only Eng and Spanish on locale setting...
there are language packs for android.
That is the phone I want.
Bring it to T-Mobile!
Looks fat and clunky... Snap will be cool
Nice to see Android mated with SnapD's now (FINALLY!!!)
Red beans and rice didn't miss her.
Laura you wrote the gw620 Eve. What you're thinking of and is pictured is the gw620 Etna.
whatever happened to Nvidia's Tegra?
*Crickets*
I was about to say that too, whatever happened to the long announced HTC Superstar with the NVIDIA chip running, only it wasn't for Android but WinMo 6.5. I hope HTC release that but on Android Eclair or WinMo 7 for 2010
if it's for Korean, then it's a CDMA phone. Good shot at getting it with Verizon or Sprint. Though, I expect that 2Q 2010 this may be a mid range model.
