Meta,
A look back on popular stories from today in a specific year.

Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
The reason 2 be mad them is they are stealing ur wifi *wink* lol

canada doesnt count.
am I the only one who does not see a problem here?
OH COME ON Engadget. Stop creating hype over this matter. It's just a store for goodness sake.
Oh WOW.. it rhymes "engadget"
So that means they're copying the logo? Amazing you guys. Really.
Yea engadget, RSS icons also take advantage of your logo. And those damn speaker icons too :-/
Hey, that's not a copy of "engadget".
It uses a different font and the radiating lines are on the left rather than on the right.
Much like many if the new "smartphones" are not iPhone wannabes or Windows is not a copy of the Mac :-)
Maybe it's for not including us in any of your contests.
Now you should be all ready to start exercising, because that was quite a stretch, Laura.
Are you sure you don't want to sue Microsoft now, for using those same little radio waves on the wireless network connection icon in the system tray?
R u even SERIOUS?
Hmm lets see:
- Different font
- 2 stripes instead of 3
- stripes on the left side of the logo, not right
- different color and shape (stripes are green and fat)
- different name
I'm afraid ur lawyers just gonna waist time and ur money.
I didn't know that Engadget reserved rights for any circle segment logo used ever, and right for the word Gadget :)) The article is totally a JOKE!
I seriously doubt they got their logo design from Engadget. The symbol for a wireless signal as well as the word "gadget" are both way too common. There are probably tons of stores that use some combination of the two, and about the most Engadget can do about it is send a cease and desist letter and hope they change it.
here's another Engadget rip-off, check the logo of this webshop: http://www.mob-com.nl/
You guys got so much flack in the comments already with this piece and now you're featuring on the right rail on the homepage next to your website as the real? I thought this would have been swept under the rug to be forgotten about in the archives.
KIRF: Intellectual Identity Theft? Whats next? Thought Police? I have *independently thought of many things I find out *others (OMG) have actually thought too! What a shame! These companies are worried about the theft of their wallets. And if Intellect is really afraid of being "stolen" how sad! How very sad. I hope our world has come farther than this, that we dont backslide into barring Intellect!
