Google Nexus One support page goes live, quickly dies again
Wondering how to activate your shiny new Nexus One? Curious how to get started with the thing, or how to use the 3D gallery? Oh, wait, you don't have yours yet? Oops. Google seems to have posted its support page for the phone a little early, a little site that went live for just a few minutes -- just long enough for us to click through a little, read that Terms of Service that was leaked to us last week, and watch a few videos. The first one that came up is actually the walkthrough for Android 2.0, curiously, but the other videos showed 3D photo gallery and some other goodies. Now they show nothing, though, having been set private and the pages removed. Surely they'll be up again soon, with the device getting announced tomorrow, and while we're still not sure exactly when you'll be able to get your own, you're always welcome to enjoy our hands-on impressions.
Update: Jakob wrote in to let us know that there's another support page still alive -- but barely. It just shows some funky characters, a nearly empty dropbox, and a very nice Nexus One logo.

@logic thinker
How many times do you have to get downranked to learn that we don't like you?
cant wait! I want to order now... no matter what the cost!
I wonder if it's worth waiting until CES is over before deciding on the Nexus One. What if there's a big surprise about another phone we don't know about?
As of now, I'm jumping on this. I'm hoping we aren't locked into that stupid $79.99 plan, especially since I'd honestly rather not drop $500 tomorrow.
I'm also hoping for native multi-touch support, and that Google will hire a decent UI designer for Android. The upside to Android is the universal appeal, but the downside is that there's no beautiful standard UI. Either that, or I'd like to see some better skinners out there.
Whats this activation crap about?
Can someone confirm if there is multitasking and full Flash support?
I'm on an N900 now and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a Nexus One.
@HughJayness There is no flash support yet for any cell phone.
The phone runs applications in the background, yes, all Android phones do.
@Siraris
Actually my Nokia N900 has full Flash support, so your statement regarding no cellphones having Flash support is not true.
In fact Google uses flash for it's application such as Google Maps, Google Finance, etc...
Still looking for confirmation on Flash support beyond the customary Youtube, Maps, Finances etc...
its Christmas eve all over again
Stupid question (and I have a rooted G1, sigh) but regarding Google Voice, using the Android App, if I used Google Voice when I make a call, is that using my plan minutes, or is GVoice acting as my carrier? Thanks all.
@jasallis3
it uses your plan minutes.
how you would get away with it is having a plan like myfaves where you add the number as one of your 5 numbers and you can make and receive as many calls as you'd like to that number
I just want to see the unlocked price in amazon
There is no more MyFaves plans anymore. I'm using an unlimited everything plan now, but with tax (and a discount) it's 92.37 a month. AND, it's month to month, so no contract on which to subsidize the phone with.
Has anyone heard of different color options?
And if I want to upgrade, do I have to give up my current MyFavs plan?
