I am extremely disheartened by the lack of AT&T availability news. I mean, de la Vega stated it would be happening, so it's *going* to be happening, but I'd like to get some information on the matter.
@wupolo It's totally understandable that they would skip AT&T right now since the iPhone is their flagship device. I'm sure they have agreements in place with Apple as far as marketing and simply won't give any competing phone the support they would if Apple's agreements weren't bootstrapping you. Personally, I'm glad AT&T didn't get the phone. I left them for the Pre a few months ago (after being with them for years) and am SO glad I did. I haven't dropped a call on Sprint yet (unlike the daily issues I had with the 'DeathStar').
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.

@Padilla7921 they said it would be in the first half. so i could imagine when the Verizon exclusivity is up in 4-5 months? I dunno.
@Padilla7921
Dude, I wouldn't bitch yet--AT&T may get something better than what Verizon is getting. You never know what may transpire in a few months.
