Lenovo ThinkPad T410s, T510 and W510 now sniffing for your wallets
Lenovo's just reminded us that there's still a world outside CES -- their recently-announced ThinkPad T410s, T510 and W510 are now available for on-line ordering. If you're up for some of that Core i5 / i7 action, prices start from $1,389, $999 and $1,599 respectively, but hey, save some money for the rest of 2010, OK? Your dog needs it.

it annoys me that my t41 looks thinner and sexier than this latest model (besides the square screen). Its also been running windows 7 perfectly, limited by the 1 gig max memory (on windows classic mode of course).
@j3oomerang
Yeah...my friend's t61 looks thinner and better than my t400.
@j3oomerang Your T41 is probably made better, too. Build quality seems to have really dropped since IBM handed the Thinkpad line to Lenovo.
Back in November, my employer replaced my 4-year old T42p with a T400. The T400's keyboard, while better than most laptops I've tried at Best Buy and other office stores, is at least a notch below the one on my old T42p. There is a noticeable amount of flex on the left side of my T400's keyboard. This is especially true of the Z, X, A and S keys; the keyboard will audibly creak when any of these keys are pressed.
The T510 looks awesome. Does anyone know what the Nvidia NVS 3100m is comparable to in the consumer space? Hopefully it's a decent upgrade from a Nvidia 8600 GT.
I REALLY want the T410 with discrete graphics if it would just come with a gd HD screen! The T510 has it, why can't the T410? I love my Z61t, but it can't run ArcExplorer anymore, and I doubt it will be able to take the next ESRI service patch before the graphics are totally obsolete, but man, I really want a 14" widescreen HD Thinkpad!
@xjarchaeologist The T410 has the nVidia dedicated graphics, the current T410s won't have a dedicated GPU until Mid-February.
Anyone know what the actual screen res' are with the different options? Lenovo hasn't updated the help pages to show what the difference between an HD, HD+, or FHD screen is.
These do look very nice. I just sold my two year old T61 and was thinking about ordering a T500, but I can't do without an LED screen.
@MRCUR
hd = 720p or 768
hd+ = 1600x900
fhd = full 1080p
@k2001 - Excellent, thanks for the info!
@MRCUR
Well I know that FHD 'full hd' is 1920x1080
I'm going to speculate that HD is 1366x720-ish
and HD+ is somewhere in between... 1680x950-ish
I've got a HD+ T500, and it's res is 1680x1050
Where is the x210????
Could Engadget enquire Lenovo about the discrepancy between the Quadro FX 880M that's advertised as being in the W510 and the NVS 5100m that appears when you actually try to configure it?
anybody want my Old t400?

@creepin
maybe
@DrDr
then drop me pm at the forums :)
Hopefully this means cheaper W500's on eBay soon!
I just bought the Tr10 with discrete graphics tonight. Can't wait!! I have been waiting 2 months for this news.
T510 with discrete graphics. Sorry, no edit feature.
T510!?
That's like... ten more than my T500.
*raeg*
is it just me or did the graphical performance drop with the new t510 and w510?
@Wiggy Fuzz Why would you say that? Nobody knows the details of the new graphics cards.
