HTC Supersonic maybe rendered, matches up with leaks so far
Okay, look, we're not saying it's unpossible for someone with some incredible Illustrator skill to have thrown this together after seeing the supposed leak last night -- there are definitely plenty of talented people out there with far too much time on their hands. That being said, this matches up perfectly with everything we know and everything we've been told so far, so even if it is fake, it probably gives us some good insight into what Sprint's terrifying beast of a phone is going to look like up close. The Supersonic is said to have a 4.3-inch display and WiMAX alongside Sense -- so if it's all true, we strongly suggest other carriers be ready to step up their Android game. Any other leaks care to step forward today?

i want one, no i mean two, oh no, i mean four
Upon first viewing this my initial thought: Droid Eris without physical keys.
Looks nice, but that is an awfully big phone.
I personally hope we don't see an escalating screen size arms race, because I feel like 3.5-3.7" is right around the sweet spot of "pocketability."
@ebgolfin
Awfully big Bonner, WTF
@ebgolfin
Apparently they intend for us to walk around like this...

@ebgolfin
Physically, it's not much bigger than the iPhone as engadget demonstrates here: http://www.engadget.com/photos/hd2-hands-on/#2420589
think I might have to get rid of my Pre for one of these
unpossible
sprint ftw ?
@coyote57
coyote57 WTF!
Its an iPhone with more buttons.
at least add a keyboard to make a little bit different.
the back picture really looks like........a piece of..........paper
Shameless iphone ripoff!!
@neo2021
You fail at life
@Peteman100
Yeah...you idiots buying knockoffs are the real losers..I am sure you will be waiting for the Apple tablet knockoff with your tongues out..
I wouldn't be surprised if this went on ahead to AT&T, seeing as Android is supposed to be coming soon.
Finally, a phone us Sprint users deserve!
copped
I could be wrong so don't all jump on me...but there has been some retouching done to this photo...by ramping the levels in photoshop one sees that there is a significant amount of pattern deviation around the buttons and the logo. Indication? Possible paste job.

@ChrMartin
interesting
@ChrMartin
I'm not really sure if that's saying much though. Companies create official mockups/renders of their products all the time. Being done in photoshop doesn't mean it's not a real device.
Ruined with HTC Sense UI. Seriously, Nexus One stock Android looks infinitely better.
@TareG
If you don't like Sense, you can easily turn it off. Here are eight steps to a having phone that is no longer "ruined".
1. Press MENU button.
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Applications.
4. Press Manage Applications.
5. Wait for the OS to compute application usage.
6. Scroll down the list until you see HTC Sense and select it to go to the Application Info page.
7. Press the Clear Defaults button.
8. Press the HOME button. You will be prompted to select which app to compete the action with. Select Home and chose to make this the default action.
So... While I love WebOS and will never give it up it's a race to see which is released 1st. The Palm "C40" or the "Supersonic".
I'll assume that this phone will only be sold in WiMAX markets which means I'm going to have to take a 3 hour roadtrip to Raleigh.
I'm Windows waiting on the HD2 but this will bring me to Andoid, (please let it go to another place besides Sprnt).
Damn!! It just keeps getting better and better. Can you imagine the phones that would be available after about a decade. Just awesome
T-Mobile and AT&T get the HD2 while Sprint and Verizon get the Supersonic.
