NetTalk responds to MagicJack founder's comments

MagicJack founder Dan Borislow certainly didn't mince any words in tearing apart his latest competitor in a recent interview, and it looks like those comments unsurprisingly didn't go unnoticed by the folks at NetTalk. In an (expletive-free) official statement just released today, the company says that contrary to comments made, "our company is founded and run by a staff of seasoned executives with decades of experience who firmly attests to and stands behind the high quality of netTALK's policies, customer service practices, network and product development activities." It further goes on to note that the TK6000 device offers "more convenience, flexibility and functionality" than "others on the market," and that it is, in fact, a "best-of-all-worlds communication device." Head on past the break for the complete statement.
We, at netTALK, would like to respond to the comments made about our company and our product, the TK6000, as of late. Contrary to comments made, our company is founded and run by a staff of seasoned executives with decades of experience who firmly attests to and stands behind the high quality of netTALK's policies, customer service practices, network and product development activities. Unlike others on the market, the TK6000 works independent of a computer, offering more convenience, flexibility and functionality to the end user – not to mention cost and energy savings. Because the TK6000 is flexible enough to not require the use of a fully powered computer to make and receive calls like other units, our customers are able to save time, energy and money. We developed the TK6000 by reviewing the current leading products in the category and focusing on the best attributes from each, resulting in a product we, and our loyal customers, feel is a best-of-all-worlds communication device.

I have actually ordered both the NetTalk and the MagicJack today and i am going to personally compare both in all aspects. The Best one out of these two will be my phone service provider! I'll Try to update more when i get these delivered!
@vinkca Please do. Youtube video would be awesome.
Forget nettalk or magicjack.. I use Ooma it cost $200 on sale at my local best buy normaly $250 and it gives me free home service and long distance and i can have my computer shut down.. no power and still use it!! call clearity is great on both ends. just my 2 cents :)
NetTalk will jack up your electric bill for sure.
Along similar lines I recently purchased a grandstream HT502 ($55) which is a SIP ATA which I setup to use sipgate.com for voice services. (1.9 cents a minute outbound /free inbound) $1.90 for e911 per month. I use my google voice number since the only number they had for me is in California. You can also configure it to show whatever outbound number you want for caller ID - google voice. May not work for all but I am happy with it. The HT502 also has two phone jacks on the back so I have assigned one port as a fax (T.38) and the other as voice. Call quality is pretty good.
