Good news, laptop hunters! No, not those
laptop hunters.... Anywho, two of Lenovo's
CES-announced machines are now ready for you to customize and order, with the 14-inch G460 packing a 2.13GHz Core i3-330M processor, integrated Intel graphics, Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1,366 x 768 resolution panel, 320GB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, dual-layer DVD writer and a 6-cell battery. The 15.6-inch G560 adds a marginally larger LCD and, well, that's it. Thankfully, both units get going at the same $799 price point, so choosing between the two really boils down to how awful your vision is. Got that, gramps?
but does it offer the best browsing experience EVER!!!?
@SuckOnThis Doesn't look like it's able to handle Flash. ;)
@SuckOnThis
Of course it does. It runs Windows after all.
@Steve Anthony Ballmer that scares me more then flash
@GeekGirl
I never said you had to use Internet Explorer. Even though you should. Or I'll sue you.
@SuckOnThis
In a word: Yes
@SuckOnThis Lenovo has began shipping its 15.6-inch IdeaPad G560 notebook PC. The sole model available among the entry notebooks is powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. The 320GB hard drive is preloaded with Windows 7:

$799!?! For more money they could have the best browsing experience ever at an unbelievable price!
@Tes
Yep, there sure are lots of computers under $799, kind of like these!
Very nice...if only I wasn't responsible for feeding and clothing my kids...
The retail link says I-5, but when you click on it the only (non customizable setup is and I-3 system) If you put in a rather lengthy complainant you might be able to get the free bump up in processor for nothing, or extremely discounted.
too slow
@SuckOnThis Doesn't look like it's able to handle Flash. ;)
right you are 64bit le can't
Too bad it's missing a dedicated gfx card. Other than that, the specs are "not bad".
@TareG
Yea, the GFX need to be better (ATI/Nvidia) and then we'll be talking.
Ugh, 1366 x 768 resolution is an automatic failure, ESPECIALLY for a freaking 15.6-inch screen. Good lord, why are laptop makers suddenly so TERRIFIED of vertical pixels? They don't even have to give up their precious 16:9 aspect ratio. Just make 1600x900 an option at least.
@Kurotetsu
900 pixels is too few. Why are laptop makers afraid of people with good eyesight?
I just want it to be cheaper and have a 2.4GHz processor. That's my computer that blew up from a stick of RAM.
