Nexus One video series, part two: Google schools us on OLED displays
The first installment of Google's fancy Nexus One design series focused on the sound quality of the device, and on the overall design. Well, part two is here now, and this time, we get to watch while HTC project manager Tomasz Hasinki and Android software engineer Romain Guy give us the goods on the Nexus One's OLED display and the interactive, 3D framework. We're expecting a couple more videos in the series, so grab a very tiny bowl of popcorn (it's pretty short) and check out the video, which is after the break.

@Kmobs Thanks for the info. Hopefully the next time they have a webcast instead of going on about mulitouch they could ask why they didn't include that with the Nexus one and did with the droid.
@Kmobs However even the droid doesn't give you the ability to select what folders you can sync with MS Exchange like other PDA phones do.
Good for Google. They're making me want their phone!
@pikamookie
The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.
@magallanes
Actually, I'm just happy they've got some good advertising finally.
Nice phone. What's that font they use for that code listing? It's nice.
They should get an English guy with a shaved head named jonathan to call it magical, that would sell it more than this video.
@huh "Elephant. Room. Battery life."
Battery life is fine actually.
1219 mah - iPhone 3GS
1400 mAh - Nexus One
Elephant. Not in a room, but a huge open zoo. Not a big deal.
wow the white color nexus look hot
Funny, this is obviously some Windows C(++)-Sourcecode for OpenGL. Maybe this is some NeHe-Tutorial?
@tech my thoughts exactly... why win32 code in an android phone commercial... blasphemy!
Hurry and come to AT&T!
This looks good. Still love the Palm Pre though.
Yep, easily the best phone on the market today. Once you go with a high resolution OLED screen, you will never go back to plain old LCD.
Can't wait for OLED to be a standard for laptops. Not only does it look much better, but it would help with battery life as well.
OLED = More power for the SOC and or longer battery life! Word Up Google!
