@mpv
Ahh, I was having a brain fart. Maybe the ROMs will be floating around out there then. :)
T-mobile is shzit and so is htc for even giving their weak azz network this phone. Tmob is about get passed by metro pcs dauuuum biatch
@Phonejunkie31 You would know. You're the target market for Metro PCS.
T-Mo is awesome where I live. ZERO complaints. Been with them for 8 years (since they were Voicestream).
@darex that could be true I just hate them and there suck phones until recent
Win mo 7 isnt ready no way it ships with the hd2 lol
@lightforce I hate to sound skeptical, but unless you work in the WinMo program at MS how do you know? If you do claim to work in that group I would be extremely skeptical that you would be divulging that it is not ready.
I don't work for MS, but I do have a close relationship to many that do. I have signed enough NDAs with MS over the years, that I have a pretty good inside track on how things are coming on various projects, and all I have to do is ask, and my contacts usually freely give me details, knowing that they would nail my ass if I ever leaked details. However in the Case of WinMo7, they just go silent and tell me they can't talk about it. There is definitely above average pressure to contain leaks on this project.
@phonejunkie, eh wtf r u talking about dude?
Lets get ready 4 next mondays winmo7
At most, it'll come preloaded with WM 6.5.3. That's at very most. HTC likes to take their time with updates, and even though 6.5.3 is final, they've built everything on 6.5 and it would need time to be tested with 6.5.3 preloaded. Mark my words, there's no way it'll come with WM7 in just a little over a month, jumping the gun on other WM7 devices set to launch later this year. That's even if there's devices (like Project Pink) that may be running some form of WM7 under the hood.
i'm also guessing the eBook reader and documents tab, as Condiment predicted above. There's not really much more they can cram in at the last minute while still having time to test it.
Gimme a release date and a price. I will be one happy son of a bitch.
Dual-Boot?! That would blow my f##kin mind--aww d##n you Nexus One!
@N900
Do you still have a N900, or did you get rid of it?
@N900 You can dual boot Android and WinMo. Just go to XDA
Oh how I yearn for a little promise of anything smartphone related from Sprint...
Word has it that HTC will announce a HD2 'mini' come mid next week. Hopefully T-Mobile will have that too.
@GeekPI You can have it. Have you read the specs for the "HD2 mini"? HVGA 3.2 inch screen, 600 mhz processor. Yawn. It's a diamond with a capacitive screen and lower resolution. Let's throw it a parade. Straight to the landfill.
If it has bumped up specs and winmo 7, then im on board!! especially via tmobile, sounds like a winner!
SOLD!
Dual boot would be a game changer
Please be WinMo7.
But I think they are talking about Swype. HD2 is going to have Swype keboard. It's pretty cool feature for a touch keypad :D
They'll announce it has more RAM than it's European counterpart.
@Mister Yeah, ROM is sexy enough to be a good teaser for a tweet. Good job.
