O.k., Air is great... love Wired, been subscribed for well over a decade, and it's all peachy and cool... one thing tho... These two guys, been wondering of who they remind me of, and then I realized... Boiler Room!!! Throughout the whole interview, I felt like they are trying to sell me something... then again, they do, don't they? Don't get me wrong, I love technologies and have a house stuffed with gizmos of all kinds, some that I use at all times, some were shelved upon unboxing. I still believe that classic magazine, that's right, on a piece of paper, will remain. If nothing, then just like vinyl LP's, for people who appreciate true and "un-synthesized" products... And, about printed ads, those on ridiculously thick paper, they are first to be trashed... followed by "Save 80% on subscription" coupons... On Air platform, same thing will happen. Just now, they will have much better feedback on thermal graphs and hot areas... it's been all already said and done...
"I'm a college student looking for a new laptop, but almost all of my media I receive digitally. I'm looking for a laptop, not a netbook, without an optical drive, and budget sensitive. The optical drive will just be a waste of space, when I can have thinner laptop. What's out there?"
