Sharp crams digiframe into JD-4C1CL/CW telephone
Face it, kids -- it's tough to make a landline telephone hip in the age of cellular telephony, but somehow or another Sharp has managed to do just that. For the second time in a year, no less. The new JD-4C1CL/CW is a rather typical cordless phone, but the super-dee-duper docking station has a 4.3-inch digital photo frame and 64MB of internal storage space. Beyond that, most everything else is under wraps, but we're told that it'll ship in brown, red and white this April for an undisclosed amount.

So then why is their a black one?
@Vinnymac
Probably lost in translation...
@Vinnymac
that's brown
Photoshop is telling me it's more black than brown lol.
Good dock, bad phone
Do we really need this many #@%#@ digital picture frames in our house? What's next -- a digital picture frame in a digital picture frame?
-- Although, as a side note, this phone reminds me of the Polycom CX700 IPphone: http://www.mrkernel.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/picture-081.jpg
@dragonfli
actually, I think we will be seeing digital picture frames in our toilets.
@dragonfli Personaly I have several "traditional" pictures per room in my house, so I can easily see why someone who is not a fan of blank walls would want at least one digital picture frame per room.
So why not do the smart thing an put a decent camera in that for video calling and have a real product people may want. I dunno got a few frames but at the phone. the only thing I look at on the phone is anything but.
This is actually pretty neat.
It is neat but it is missing a "tiny" feature :video call.
Can I use it everywhere Canada or China ?
