Relax Engadget. The HD2 is still a hell of a phone. WinMo 6.5.3 is far from terrible, has significantly better finger support for capacitive touch screens, and has quite a few user made apps. Plus this is running Sense, which isn't anything to sneeze at either when it comes to features and usability.
And I'm sorry, but did we forget this thing is more powerful then 90% of the smartphones out there today? 1GHz Snapdragon, 576MB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 4.3" 800x480 capacitive multi-touch screen, 5MP camera with auto-focus. This thing puts the iPhone and anything else HTC has come out with to absolute shame. If Microsoft decides not to let this upgrade to WP7, they're making a huge, HUGE mistake.
