@Vrmithrax Yea, I thought the prices seemed competitive.
Let's see the version for the left handers then!!!!
This is pretty frkn ridiculous, but I want one!!!
@Lord Vader I think ur boring...
i dont think that "metal" thingie helps anything in durability... if a mouse breaks its because of the buttons... Seems just like a gimmick and this way they can say "WE HAVE METAL"...
@Kaboof
The metal is good for impact gaming, I have even caught myself getting pissed off in a heated match and slamming my mouse down on a fail scenario :) Damn quake3live match's can leave me mad sometimes.
Currently I use a Sentinel Advance mouse and it is a awesome mouse at its price point. The Rat 9 being wireless has me wanting but it is just a bit overpriced.
Where can i buy this??? "drools"
this is pretty cool can get the rat 9 down to say $80 i'll be there huckleberry and buy one
Looks badass, and it's actually got good features for fans of PC shooter games. I would get one if they kept it under $100 (Microsoft and other high-end gaming mice are about $90).
Ill stick with my Mamba, plain, simple, and badass
I'll buy one when my logitech breaks...
In all seriousness though, I would like to try one. It looks like there's a little more substance behind the gimmick than I had originally thought.
WOW! I WANT THIS! I want the wireless version (9 series). I don't think $120 is bad either.
THAT IS THE SICKEST MOUSE I HAVE EVER,EVER, EVER, EVER (you get my point lol) SEENNN!!!!
wayyy too high tech for me. i'll stick to my regulr three button mouse: left right scroll
looks like it could be awesome although it seems theres alot that could go wrong here. The question is can i get a left handed one?
This might challenge my Mamba for a spot on my mousemat lol. looks intense. but 175$? thats a bit much.
Time to learn right-handed mouse use. :
I like my Logitech MX Revolution, which does much of what the Rat 9 does, though without the adjustability.
Problem is that Logitech has discontinued it, and the "replacement" dropped the second scrollwheel, making it not the same after all.
I don't care about variable weight, and the Rat metal underbelly would be a negative, not positive - getting caught on carpet, etc. (I like using whatever surface is handy as a mousepad.) The adjustable dimensions, particularly for the thumb ledge, would be nice, but I'd rather have a smooth contour to the adjustment gaps.
Oh, and the MX Revolution had about the same retail as the Rat 9.
That is one awesome mouse! I want one!
A "Young Frankenstien" reference. Nice.
Mr. Frankenstien...
ITS Fraaaankenstien!
I get it if a user is from fallujah with their 'new' hands with 6 fingers and such, but how is the rest of the world suppose you use a scrollwheel positioned there? I don't quite get that.
Can it transform into a tiny car?
Very neat, but I think I will stick with my Razer Mamba. The wireless Cyborg 9 is 129 Euros...., The Mamba was $129 USD and that was bad enough.
If you are in the US the prices are RAT7 $99.99, RAT5 $69.99, RAT3 $49.99
which are all very reasonable prices. I'm assuming the RAT9 will be $129.99 when it shows up to buy....

@HardcorePooka
"very reasonable prices"
This is a computermouse you know, those should never cost more than $40 tops no matter how fancy.
