We've
heard it all before, but it's always nice to get a modicum of legitimacy from a primary source. T-Mobile has now officially announced the release details for the HTC
HD2 -- you know, that phone whose cool factor has dropped a few Mega Fonzies since we confirmed once and for all it wasn't getting a
Windows Phone 7 upgrade. Look for it next Wednesday, March 24th, for just a penny under $200 on a two-year contract (and $450 without). Hey, at least this one's
definitely got copy and paste, right?
They have a demo at the tmo store and I am in love!! I'll probably get a new phone by christmas, bt in between time I will have this beauty! You have to see the phone in person to appreciate the specs! HTC sense really is the OS dropped with winmo! I'm leaving my beta pre behind and upgrading to a mans phone!
Have they confirmed that WP7S will not have Copy & Paste by launch time?
Need some advice. Looking hard at this phone. Had a iphone for a few years, but recently broke and have yet to replace it. Been reading about W7 and not sure if I really care. I dont face tube or twitter. Basically need strong multimedia phone, watch movies, music and internet. From what I understand, you can get a core player to watch divx and xvid movies and hot swap micro sd cards? This screen looks killer. I know t--mobile 3G kinda sucks, but on ATT in SF right now, so it cant be that worse right? Should I pull the trigger or wait to see what the next iphone (possibly june?) holds.
@tatooz
This phone will serve you very well.
is it just me or does the hd2 have a front facing camera?

I wouldn't worry about the HD2 being Windows guys. Think about how the Nexus One got a leaked ROM from the HTC Desire with Sense. The Supersonic's ROM will get leaked and put on the HD2, fortunately that device has the same amout of buttons as the HD2 and the same exact pretty much everything for that matter.
