I am actually typing this on my mini 10 that I got yesterday. i ordered it with the Intel WiMAX card and it came with a Clear Wireless icon on the desktop, but no mention of clear was made during the ordering process. When I opened it, the first thing I did was turn on WiMAX, and lo and behold, I was able to connect to the Clear WiMAX network - no subscription required. In fact, I TRIED to subscribe by calling Clear, but they basically told me that if I didn't buy the modem from them, it wouldn't work, and refused to sign me up. So, for the time being, until Clear gets their act together, I have FREE WiMAX! I tested it at Speedtest.net, and I got pretty consistent 6.5-7mbps down, 3-6mbps up. So far I would say I am pretty happy with my netbook - and can't wait for the 2GB memory stick i ordered to come in.
PS - For those complaining about the "ugly" hinge design, it is like that for a reason. A friend of mine had the original mini 10, and the screen was heavier than the bottom half, so when opened, it would tend to make the whole machine tip over. The new design prevents this entirely.
During his WWDC keynote, Steve Jobs touted iCloud as a service that will sync many of your Apple devices, for free. Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even Windows computers can synchronize documents, contacts, calendar appointments, and other data.
