BPhone netbook / smartphone hybrid now available to order
Why carry around a netbook and a smartphone when you can have a netbook / smartphone? Why indeed. Especially when you can have something as sensible as the BPhone, which is now finally available for the completely reasonable price of $569.99 (unlocked, of course). That will get you a not-quite-pocketable convertible device with a 5-inch touchscreen, along with a 624MHz Marvell CPU, ARM Linux 2.6 for an OS, 256GB of flash storage, built-in Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS, and quad-band GSM connectivity on the "phone" side of the equation. Sound like just the thing you've been looking for? Hit up the link below to get your order in.

Wow!
@KGBSmurf
Not sure if want...
@pdotg
Actually, no, I don't want.
The Mini 5 has a 5" screen, so why get this?
@KGBSmurf wow in a,,, "WOW this is absolutely rediculously lame" sor of way. i mean wouldnt you like look back on this kind of gadget and be all, "back in 2010,, there were actually smartphones that looked like mini laptops and they called them a smartphone/netbook....
now days we just get on our 5in1 devices that has internet/phone/toilet/toothbrush/and cooker" lol
@KGBSmurf
Now I can finally play CS on my PHONE! WOOT! STEAM TOO!
@KGBSmurf
''256GB of flash storage'' thats more memory than the adverage gadget
Wow. Just wow.
Those are not good wows, by the by...
Good idea. Bad execution.
"hyrbid" = higher bid?
@aroGADGET I think they just spelled hybrid incorrectly :)
@eattheirdead I know. I'm just being a smart-ass!
@aroGADGET He was too. Sarcasm missed.
these terrible specs make me want to kill someone
@Alexpeegs
256GB of flash storage, though!!! (I'm guessing that's a typo)
@crawdad689 its probably 256mb RAM??
Thats alot of storage!
@mark29 Memory - 256MB NAND Flash ...
@stueck Yeah i guessed as much, this would be cool to have but just to show off
@mark29 true ^^
A bizarre concept, if it was cheapside I'd like it, but $500? Your having a giraffe.
@Oli D
Are you taking the piss?
It's just 256MB of flash storage. I wish it had 3G of some sort. I wonder why most of these 3G enabled netbooks don't have voice. Most of the 3G chips can enable voice with the firmware. That would be sweet.
It's processor makes me cry "WHYYYYY" the shizz needs 1ghz at least
Um, how do you talk on it?
You yell at the keyboard.
Or use Bluetooth, I suppose.
@SomeGuy42
Errr...I am guessing it is video conferencing? like on the PC with skype or any other VoIP application but disappointed in the spec and at that price...no
Oh man, I remember this form factor. There is one from HTC not too long ago.

The only difference that matter is the OS and the inital price. Another thing is. When you want to make/answer a call, obviously you can't hold the unit to your head. You'll need to either use the build-in speaker or bluetooth.
@HemanC
Indeed, smartphone in netbook form factor
...But I do believe that there is a market for a mini ipad. Something between iphone and ipad. Nokia did it with succes with the N97 and N97 mini.
@MichaelPB Dell's releasing one "soonish".
Dear Bphone,
Please get a minified Thinkpad keyboard + pointer. Please reduce your bezel. Please dual-boot Android + Ubuntu. And um, like grow some decent specs. Thank you, come again.
Why would anybody buy this over a Pandora - which is what it kind of looks like? OK - so the Pandora doesn't have GSM connectivity and is just starting production now. But its much cheaper and better in almost every other way than this thing.
About as useful as an iPhad will be.
This thing looks like a knockoff of a KIRF.
Exactly how much time would you say you spend on those TPS reports?
So basically it's a Zaurus, without the flip over screen, and no compact flash or sd card slot, but with a cellular radio. Ehhh.
a hyrbid! cool.
Sorry, I'm not quite feelin the smartphone/netbook crossover thing. Now the Dell Streak, that I'm feelin!
HYRBID A DURKA DURKA DURR
