Thanks as always guys!
@werty1432k or should I say "Cheers" for this one
@werty1432k
Niice! Its actually early this week
=D
I like the intro, listening now as I read some stuff.
awesome, and up fairly promptly. DLing now.
just a wee bit too much laughing.... guess you had to be there, etc.
For God sakes let people finish speaking, Josh!
Great podcast! You 3 are by far the best for the podcast.
Damn, it took you guys long enough to get this up. I was about to send a strongly worded email.
1:20:18 "we refuse to talk about palm until they do something" Well i hope palm keeps that in mind when you engadget guys are dying to see and test out the next generation of palm devices. and with that you just lost a listener. I REFUSE TO LISTEN TO YOU UNTIL YOU DO SOMETHING....
@harold42483 So you want us to keep saying the same things about Palm every week, then?
@harold42483 I find your lack of logic disturbing
@Nilay Patel You mean to tell me there is nothing to talk about? really. How about adobe featuring the Palm Pre in its latest flash advertisment. The fact that paid apps are now available world wide. How about Palms stocks rising 21% in one day, and 11% the next day. Verizon launching early upgrade program to push webOS phones into dumbphone users' hands. WebOS 1.4.1?? X-Server is coming to webOS, bringing along OpenOffice....but ya nothing to be said at all.
@harold42483 I take the fact that you didn't respond as that you agree...
@harold42483 There isn't really anything notable in there to warrant a discussion. Palm's stock price is currently slight above $5.00, so it increased by what, less than a dollar? That doesn't seem like enough to be mentioned over the launch/introduction of two highly-anticipated products.
first time i'm listening to the podcast i'm enjoying it. Just the one thing i was slightly annoyed with was that you just talk about flash as a third party tool? What about unity? thats a great tool for creating games for the iphone
If you guys are vigilantes can you tell us which watchmen characters you are most like?
Great Podcast. Paul, the stuttering is getting painful to listen to. Can someone get this guy a hooker?
@Toshi Hardware accelerated Flash sucks too. What's your point?
And I don't know very many people who just want to read books. Do you?
I usualy love these podcasts but all you guys did this time was bitch and moan about Apple.
Hi guys great podcast as always. I have one questions for you guys:
This is more like a topic to discuss, but why do you think sony isn't really pushing their mobile gaming market. The psp was a very good product and it brought a differences to the market which it needed very much (Graphics and more hardcore mobile gaming as opposed to nintendo). However the psp is dyeing by the hands of Nintendo and All cellular gaming devices. Sony may have created the psp go as a rebuttal to the new competition but we both know that it was a horrible move. On the other hand sony has a crippling cellular market. What I think sony should do is simple: Cut its' cellular market and focus primarily on its mobile gaming industry. Make a device that will complete with the uniqueness of the nintendo ds and the portability, hype, and LARGE ecoystem of the iPhone. What are you guys' opinions.
@Modacke
Also I forgot to put, that the new device sony HAS to create must have some sort of Sony Network features. In fact this what the device should be about, target gamers that want to take their REAL games with on the go. Spend many many many hours and money on developing a GREAT matchmaking online service. Josh said it in the podcast, the fact Apple is the first to develop such a thing for a mobile device is EXTREMELY PITIFUL. Again what do u guys think?
Josh, please remember to discuss your experience with the nexus one as your primary phone. Would love you hear your take. My biggest complaint is the typing.
Thanks.
By the way, great podcast.
Nilay interrupts Josh so much.
