OH MY GOD
NEXT ARTICLE WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE, I JUST KNOW IT
@AlexSanchez
Lol - and today, everyone will remember as the day the "price" for the EVO was released, but no one will remember the thing called the Kin that briefly made an appearance.
Funny how this one, minimally detailed photo outshines all of the day's Kin news.
@grapeDrank KINDEEZENUTZZZZ
but in all seriousness, you're right, i'll remember april 12 as the day the evo was priced at 5 stacks. the kin is too... KINdergarten for my taste.
@AlexSanchez i cant wait for this phone i am hoping this comes out sooner than june
@AlexSanchez
Once I see a release date, I'm gonna start doing everything I can to find my way out of my AT&T contract. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but the EVO 4G just looks incredible.
@DWells55 Amen brother.
@AlexSanchez i see what you did there
@DWells55 lol
@Jean Marc just dont look at the bills
$5555.55 == placeholder value?
@strawe
More like someone screwing around with the system it seems, lol
@strawe No. That is the actual price (after rebates). Still reasonable IMO for the Evo.
@LADodgersFan88
This phone has me SO much more excited than anything from MS or Apple. The Dell Mini 5 has me excited, too. I'll take one of each!!!!
@crawdad689
No doubt Sprint bigwigs know darn well someone will leak any info on their company servers, so they're playing that good ol' game of CYA, and of course, toying with us, and giving us premature-tech-ejaculations.
@strawe Oh Snap! I am $5205.00 short. :)
@strawe
Actual price. It also has nothing to do with the fact that 5 is the center button on a number pad.
@strawe
Yeah, that's what I think too. Particularly the .55 looks funny to me.
@strawe Retail stores use exorbitantly high prices as a placeholder to make sure people don't buy products before they're released.
@strawe
Ranked you up for using equality comparison operator instead of assignment operator. :)
There's already more accessories for this yet-to-be-released product than my lonely HTC Desire. C'mon HTC spread the love!
@Alexa
Which carrier are you using the desire with? Do you still have to pay smartphone data rates?
@Alexa
I guess there was not too much DESIRE for accessories. :)
@Alexa
Meh accessories are for pussies. My Desire is naked and I like it that way.
@ecobranon T-Mobile UK, "unlimited" 3GB data included in plan.
@slimjim316
I love your sense of humor!!

@javant86 hahaha!
that's how I speak! :D B)
that was quick. Great phone. If only sprint had better looking coverage but that map looks weak. I don't think this will be a huge seller. It will sell like crazy where they have 4g and it has a huge advantage but in areas without 4g like orlando, sprints weak 3g network won't sway buyers
@dswatson83
Um.. Sprint is second only to Verizon.. if so many people are willing to suffer through AT&T to get an iphone.. I think people will survive on sprint..
@zsmorr
seriously, is it good? I'm just looking at a map that looks weak to me in my area (orlando) and especially weak in less populated areas. Plus no 4g in my area in the plans yet. Lots of gray areas of roaming. I would get this phone in a heartbeat if I knew my phone and data were going to be reliable and fast
..........August cannot come fast enough to get out of my AT&T contract...
odd question: would anyone be interested in a qwerty version of this phone? same dimensions except slightly thicker?
@maleek34k
Most definitely! I passed on the Hero and took the Moment just because of the keyboard, despite the HTC being a better phone.
I also like the slide out, it seems easier to hold when browsing in bed, the recliner, even in the crapper.
@maleek34k
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Typing on screen is fine for short little tidbits, but for anything more than a few words I'd much rather have a physical keyboard.
