HTC EVO 4G shows up in Sprint inventory, shots of the accessories surface

Need something to wash that Kin marketing out of your mouth? How about some new tidbits on the superphone to end all superphones? For whatever reason, the HTC EVO 4G has showed up in Sprint's inventory, a couple months early by all accounts. It's carrying a completely reasonable $5,555 pricetag, and the appropriate HTC A9292 model number. If that doesn't quite satiate your EVO 4G thirst, LeakDroid has managed to get shots of those EVO 4G accessories we've been hearing about, including a home dock, extended battery case, colored silicon sleeves, and a car dock. Lol - and today, everyone will remember as the day the "price" for the EVO was released, but no one will remember the thing called the Kin that briefly made an appearance.

Once I see a release date, I'm gonna start doing everything I can to find my way out of my AT&T contract. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but the EVO 4G just looks incredible.

that was quick. Great phone. If only sprint had better looking coverage but that map looks weak. I don't think this will be a huge seller. It will sell like crazy where they have 4g and it has a huge advantage but in areas without 4g like orlando, sprints weak 3g network won't sway buyers

seriously, is it good? I'm just looking at a map that looks weak to me in my area (orlando) and especially weak in less populated areas. Plus no 4g in my area in the plans yet. Lots of gray areas of roaming. I would get this phone in a heartbeat if I knew my phone and data were going to be reliable and fast

Most definitely! I passed on the Hero and took the Moment just because of the keyboard, despite the HTC being a better phone.

I also like the slide out, it seems easier to hold when browsing in bed, the recliner, even in the crapper.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Typing on screen is fine for short little tidbits, but for anything more than a few words I'd much rather have a physical keyboard.
