HTC EVO 4G shows up in Sprint inventory, shots of the accessories surface

Need something to wash that Kin marketing out of your mouth? How about some new tidbits on the superphone to end all superphones? For whatever reason, the HTC EVO 4G has showed up in Sprint's inventory, a couple months early by all accounts. It's carrying a completely reasonable $5,555 pricetag, and the appropriate HTC A9292 model number. If that doesn't quite satiate your EVO 4G thirst, LeakDroid has managed to get shots of those EVO 4G accessories we've been hearing about, including a home dock, extended battery case, colored silicon sleeves, and a car dock. I really wan the hardware - great big screen, relatively slim, fast processor. I'm just not a big fan of Android.

I think Android has tremendous potential but none of the key functionality I need on my pda phone. I NEED voice dial by BT. I need excellent e-mail integration which even with Sense or touchdown it isn't what I want. WP7 and iphone4 both support multiple exchange e-mail accounts which is huge!

Maybe in a year if fanboys can keep android around it will have all the functionality I'm looking for. While I know a lot of business people who got swept up in the geek fanboy excitement, I have yet to meet a non-technical person who likes android after they've used it.

Thats funny this showed up, i'm still looking forward to April 15th. I got a call from Sprint Customer Care to make changes on my account and when they asked if i need anything else, i asked for the EVO release date and the rep had said April 15th. Of course April and August can been mistakenly said if you're a Rep from India...

Oh well, it's only 3 more days to find the truth in that...
