@goodsir I actually pre-ordered it. I had to put down $50, and will have to pick it up on the 29th, but I figure getting the phone without worrying about the dumb mail in rebate is worth waiting a few extra days.
awesome. and i don't think it looks too bad
Have you noticed Verizon copies Sprint first the HTC hero-Droid eris and now EVO 4G-The incredible wow Verizon can't you get your own ideas
@bruceb
I think I'm dumber after reading that comment. You, little boy, are truly an idiot that lack must lack a real degree and any common sense.
@EVO/Sprint fanboys/girls
I thought we just had to deal with Apple losers. Now little Sprint arrogant fanboys are polluting boards? First Apple fanboys and now you queers?
Now an HTC Droid Incredible comes out *yes it's incredible* and you have all of these jealous EVO/Sprint fanboys just blasting the shit out of an amazing product because they have to beat it for another 3 months in their parents basement while we are rocking the best phone on the market. Simply incredible.
You do realize it's bigger and clunkier.. and has a stand? Ghetto. Why would you watch a movie on something you need to answer calls on? Stupidest thing I've ever heard. You wouldn't be able to even watch it on one charge..
Get a Zune HD or an equivalent multimedia player that will blow the battery life of any phone out of the water 10x over.
Really the only argument you have is that it has 4G.. but that's not even going to be implemented until 2011 for phones.. it only works for the other devices like computers right now.
So enjoy your spotty 4G for downloading kiddie porn in the work bathroom because you will all feel like idiots when Verizon comes out with a better 4G phone right after sprint and all of your gloating will have been a waste. Now get lost pedophiles.
Did I mention I can't wait to get the HTC incredible - - and I'll have it for 3 months longer than you?? On the #1 network in the world?
Incredible.
The WiMax (4g) for Sprint will also be slower than Verizon's LTE (4g).
It will also be a couple more years until 4g is actually at full speed and nationwide - probably not until 2012-13.. So jumping onto the 4g band wagon in 2010 may be 'cool' but it isn't going to get you much faster or farther than everyone on 3g.

Another good article on the issue.
http://money.cnn.com/2010/02/23/technology/4g_networks/index.htm
With the enormous costs, questionable speeds and a need for carriers to maintain multiple networks at once, it would seem like 4G may not be a worthwhile investment ... at least in the near term.
SPRINT is trying to suck you in with a fake 4g phone without real 4g speed.
Stick with your gut and invest in 3g for at least 1-2 more years - Verizon or ATT or T-Mobile.. Doesn't matter. As I've said, the 2010 fake 4g Sprint bandwagon is a scam.
The No. 3 wireless carrier, Sprint Nextel (S, Fortune 500), claims to have a 4G network in place based on a different technology called WiMAX, though WiMAX is actually just an enhanced 3G technology.
Pre order page is up and fully functional! just ordered mine!
